1917.

Pretty good and the lead dude was very good. Something I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't watched the Kermode review was that it was shot to look like one single continuous take throughout. Sounded gimmicky when I heard him say that but really didn't detract from the movie at all.

Fighting with my family

Steven Merchant produced epic about Paige the wwe wrestler and far she came from (Norwich)

A few bikini birds. Paige is tidy with blonde hair.

Remember, the real Paige was involved in a sex tape scandal recently.

Annoyed me her real dad is from Norwich and wears an arsenal top

6/10

Villain - cult early 70s London crime lord film. Main guy played by Richard burton is clearly based on Ronnie kray right down to his homosexual tendencies (lovejoy is the recipient of his affection). Released same year as get carter and they’re very similar, both sharing that gritty unglamorous feel. Odd that one has been forgotten and the other grown has in status and been remade by Hollywood (badly). Anyway it’s an 8/10.

Some tits.

Frozen 2. 7/10.

Songs aren’t as catchy as in Frozen.

No tits but Anna and Elsa are now of age, which is nice.

Cats. 0/10

Quite possibly the worst film I have ever seen.

Worse than the greasy strangler.

Even my wee girl didn’t really rate it saying there was too much singing and she has watched Mary poppins 9 times

Irishman 8/10

Scorsese can do no wrong. Not as good as goodfellas or casino but just nice to see de Niro in something that is not a pile of steaming shite.

I disagree. Cats is terrible. Every wayans bros film is terrible. I also find a lot of the coen bros films terrible as I just don’t really get them or how clever they are meant to be. A serious man for example.

I found the Irishman very well acted and interesting, so much so I would watch it again

A lot of people have no attention span whatsoever anymore.

I would say it’s about his 6th or 7th best.

Pioneer - 6/10

Norwegian film about early deep sea divers / workers installing pipelines and the dangers they faced. Not a job for me, my ears pop at the bottom of a swimming pool

Decent but couldn’t decide if it was trying to be a thriller, story about corporate greed / cover ups or a documentary.

I switched off as soon as I saw De Niro pretending (very badly) to kick some boy on the floor - I’m amazed Scorsese didn’t stop and say “Come on for fucksakes, Bob!! put some fucking effort in and make it more realistic - pretend its Trumps face you’re hoofing” then re-shoot the scene

I was also high on ecstasy at the time

I enjoyed the Irishman. You're right about that scene though, it was ridiculous. He could barely swing his leg, far too old to be playing a brawler.

Classic. AND THERES TITS. She's a fox too

A hilarious film and, yes, she was gorgeous.

Comedies of that era were fantastic, this plus stuff like Planes, Trains & Automobiles, and Home Alone etc.

Real belly laugh stuff.  Its been a while since a film made me laugh like that.

Recently I have seen:

Amazon:  Rambo Last Blood.  I actually quite enjoyed it, surprisingly decent.

Cinema:  The Fairy Princess And the Unicorn.  Not really sure what was going on, I fell asleep twice.  Kids seem to like it.  First time I have been in the Oden Glasgow Quay for a  good while, its now an Odeon Luxe with all reclining seats.  No wonder I fell asleep.
