The long odds punts do come in now and again. However, my best one was 22 years ago, Latvia to beat Norway away at 16/1. In recent times, Crystal Palace have been lucrative for me when winning at Stamford Bridge (8/1), The Etihad (in-play at 4s) and Old Trafford (in-play at 9/4). Close on £650 profit for the 3 wins.

My best return was just under £2500 for a £5 bet on ICT winning the Scottish Cup (7/2), Sevilla to retain the Europa League at 16/1, and Barcelona to win the Champions League at 11/2 (all season 2014/15). The last leg won whilst I was in Bulgaria. That bookie's line never left my person and even ended up in the Black Sea, but still scanned to get the needful at my local Ladbrokes on my return home?.
