Dry quickly . Depends on what you need them for - do you need pockets, do you need them to be light/ particularly waterproof etc. Most expensive isn't always best. Link to comment
Parklife
Are decent breathable waterproof ones a fortune? Planning on doing a bit of walking on holiday next month but they'd likely be consigned to a drawer forevermore after that, so very much looking for a budget pair. 2 Link to comment

Parklife
£150. Yikes. The 3rd choice on Poodler's list at £40 is my absolute maximum spend Link to comment

I got a pair for going away a couple of years back and they did the trick. Link to comment

Cowie
Fjallraven trousers are very good. Shorts aswell. £££ but worth it if you are a frequent user. Northface also do some alright lightweight trousers that can be zipped off. Shorts also OK but pockets a bit suspect (some not securable). Quick drying aswell. They are about £50 -70. Link to comment
redstrummer
Also purchased a pair of Patagonia shorts (blue ) a Patagonia shirt ( lightweight denim look ) and an Edwin T ( black ) Link to comment

daytripping
I actually cleaned up the garage tonight to prime for the arrival of my daughters new treadmill, won't embarrass the poster by naming him as I know he wouldn't want that but someone on here got in contact with me after reading my daughters treadmill was broken and offered me one that was going unused at his place, absolute gentleman and scholar, wouldn't accept any payment either. Good people are out there and if this guy ever needs any help with anything in the future he knows he can count on me, made my daughter so happy, can't put a price on that. Link to comment

daytripping
My boys club manager when I was about 13 dropped dooon deed when jogging home from one of our training sessions, always made me suspicious about the art of running. Was a main reason why I always stood at fitba trouble. Link to comment
