Pair of karhu.

Need a new cheap everyday watch....suggestions.  casio?

I have a watch that my daughter bought me when she was 10. (Clearly she didn’t pay for it but it has sentimental value as it was for my birthday.)

Took it to Dr Fix it in the Trinity centre for a new battery and he said there is something wrong with the mechanism, so it’s had to be sent down to Edinburgh to get fixed. Probably fucking cost me more than the thing did in the first place.

Get an Orange one like Poodler’s.

This is the one i had imported from Japan . Has the proper screw down back , tough solar and radio set , so never have to worry about setting the time or changing a battery , lightweight , love it !!

Also if you like diver style watches i recommend the Seiko SKX007 . I got an upgraded one with sapphire crystal on ebay for around £200. This is automatic

If you fancy something else you don't have to worry about setting , just pick up an go , these are good

I have retired from Strava. Full of idiots

Still the proud owner of 5 x CRS however

Life is full of idiots, strava, like most other things, is what you make of it.

5 CR's - esoteric ones ?? Nah, nice one, like regrets, I've had a few

Can't go wrong with the g-shocks for work , i like the retro style of the " square face " type , loads of choice and differing prices but i'm glad i chose the one with the radio setting and solar charging , thing will outlast me !!
