The system we currently have is outdated and getting increasingly ridiculous. Millions of people's livelihoods are predicated on an economy that's not robust enough to withstand 3 months of closure due to a worldwide pandemic. The economy is largely a gamble and its success or failure is predicated on those in the bottom class spending money to circulate upwards, we're fed a myth of trickle down economics to keep us servile. 
 

With global warming and extreme weather conditions set to rise during the next millennia, how can we say the system will work when it doesn't account for natural causes? So much of capitalism is rooted in oil as well, we needed renewable energy yesterday, and we won't get it for a few decades yet. Yet you've still got cunts drilling for fossil fuels to turn over disgusting profits. 
 

It's broken, it stopped working ages ago, and I think more and more people are starting to realise this. There isn't infinite economic mobility for most of the worlds population. It's a myth.

Capitalism should be adjusted to fuel innovation that benefits society and is rewarded by profit. Not an elite reaping vast profits to the detriment of society.

Maybe we don’t need a large universal income but a universal right to water, power, food and shelter. Probably a mix.

In the next 5-10 years a significant percentage of the population will be economical unviable in the work force.

The right to decent housing, water and food is a must. 
 

Over 216,000 empty houses in England, which is more than the estimated homeless population. It's nonsensical. 
 

Edit to add:
