Agreed but compared to down south it's still relatively fuck all.

You're comparing apples and oranges though.

Do you think he'd be buying the same players he has bought for the rangers if he was managed the likes of Southampton, Everton or similar? So of course it's less money

Over Parkhead preferably

If you know Glasgow Airport then you would know this is an impossibility

BUT

The standard arrival route into runway 23 overflies both the arse cheeks' training grounds.....sevco's one at well under 2000ft. One team's plane crashing into the other's training ground would be an epic occurrence.

As for tonight's results...sevco's bizarre run of lucky occurrences continues. But blowing a 3-1 lead away from home playing against 10 men for nearly 70 minutes was a comical watch. Overall it's still a good result for them though. Celtic...…..losing 4-1 at home against an under-strength (and bog standard) Czech side was just embarrassing. They'll be out of Europe shortly, no doubt having budgeted for and (in the circumstances we are in pandemic wise) badly needing, a long run to accumulate the accompanying prize money.

Fuck them both

Laughing at Chris Sutton absolutely eviscerating Leigh Griffiths.

Basically saying he’s a fat, lazy cunt.

He doesnt sugar-coat anything which is good.

Something along the lines of Griffiths is a disgrace because (despite the goals) he cant be bothered to get fit. Although he must be nearing fitness now. I think Lennon just doesnt want to start him.

Always guaranteed a goal from him off the bench tho. Thank fuck he’s back in for the Serbia game.

Clarke also alluded to Griffs fitness saying players called up would, above all else, be 100% fit and be able to play 95mins if required.

Get the fat cunt on for the last 20-30 mins.  He knows where the goal is.

?

Fit?

Planes that crash normally do so because abnormal circumstances dictate they have not managed to follow a normal flight route and/or managed to adhere to standard landing or takeoff procedure.

Hence why they end up crashing. ?

In other words, a plane could obviously crash anywhere, and 100% possible that one could do so on Parkhead.

Unless you know of some amazing, invisible alien force field that has been constructed over it allowing crashing planes to bounce off and crash elsewhere. :hypno:

They also changed the flight paths about a year ago, sending more flights north east from the airport on take off. Pre covid there were lots  of planes heading over the vicinity of celtic Park a day.

Bullcrap….

To align with the runway planes have always had to head up to the east of the Weeg (when the wind is coming from a westerly direction)….almost as far east as Cumbernauld on a northerly heading then make a turn  to the southwest over the Campsies to align with runway 23. They then overfly Kirkintilloch and Lennoxtown descending over sevcos' training ground and over the northwestern Weeg suburbs and Clydebank before crossing the Clyde and into the runway. Going anywhere near Parkhead would result in an unstabilised approach...far too short to make the turn and descend.

From the west, they route over North Ayrshire and Lochwinnoch before turning northeast , overflying northern Paisley and into runway 5.

It will come to no one's surprise that I'm a planespotter. 757's are my preferred form of pornography

Do you ever use those flight simulators TC? Sitting having a few cans flying Amsterdam to JFK?

I had flight sim 2002 I think it was. Never went the whole hog and bought the flight yoke etc, just got a stick with integrated throttle control. Tbh at that point my marriage was getting flushed down the toilet and had a bit too much on my mind to ever bother about it much. It's gathering dust in one of my son's cupboards now I think

It was a proposal, don't think it has gone through.  However, as I live at the top of a hill and can just about see Parkhead from my windows, I can say 100% that planes TAKE OFF from Paisley and head over it.  As my boy inevitably shouts out "Plane" when one goes past.  (No, he's not retarded)

If G31DON (is DMC still going to the huns? ?) starts arguing with TC about the flight paths to Glasgow airport, it would be a perfect example of how dysfunctional, weird and wonderful the hat is.

Like Millertime you are mistaking me for the similarly monikered GDON21 who made this assertion.
