I actually think it was a red. But not because Morelos had a clear goalscoring opportunity. Violent conduct. He rugby tackled Morelos. Which was sheer fucking stupidity as Ajer was covering over and Morelos was out on the right wing

It doesn't look violent but it is unquestionably a rugby tackle. Which is a red card no matter where it happens on the pitch. As I said, it was sheer stupidity from Bitton though

I don’t believe a rugby tackle anywhere on the pitch like this is a red card no matter where it was.

‘Morelos was pulled down, definite foul and to be honest, I can see why it was a red as I doubt Ajer would have gotten there before Morelos could shoot.

Stupid defending though as Bitton could easily have forced him wide.
