RUL
It's a very good move for Ruth I think. He will hopefully come back ready to challenge for first team spot. Be interesting to see what kind of career Virtanen carves out as someone said above it's clear he's nowhere near mcinnes thoughts. Link to comment

Agree - by all accounts he was outstanding during his loan spell last year in the Championship. Wonder if that's his ceiling? You'd think someone will give him another chance at Premiership level if he repeats his form from last season. Link to comment
Tord31
We might manage to make a modest fee for him if there is interest in him this summer. Link to comment

Dons21
Leaving is the best thing he’s done since joining. Will not be missed & sure he was probably on a few quid also. good riddance. Link to comment
Tord31
I was delighted with his signing. What a disaster. Only blessing being the pay off is negotiating 8 months worth of contract. We've had far worse stories than that. Link to comment

Simply Red
He's obviously been unlucky with injuries, or recovering from whatever he was fucked with when he joined us. Gamble signing. Didnt pay off. DM signing a bit of experience but he’s fucked. Laters 1 Link to comment
Guest milne_afc
Called it. He's looked dishevelled and disinterested since he arrived. Good riddance to the piece of shit. Link to comment
WesthillWanderersFC
A high wage earner off the books. Plenty cover in centre midfield. Good move all round. 1 Link to comment
Tord31
Too many midfielders so Bryson n Virtanen moving out addresses that a bit. We could probably even survive down by one more as still have Ferguson, McCrorie, Ojo, McGeouch and Campbell. Link to comment

G31DON
Another giant pile of cash frittered away. Will be virtually forgotten he was ever here in 18 months time. 1 Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Did he even merit his own thread at any point? I won’t deny I expected much much more from him & was even actually pleased & optimistic when we signed him. complete failure of a signing. killie will be delighted to get him back if not Hibs (who’s midfield is honking) Link to comment

MMG
File under McNamara, J. His heart was never in it and he never fully immersed himself in the club. When other players can’t play due to injury, they often get involved in RedTV or the AFCCT. Bryson was just happy to collect the wage. The fact his wife and kids relocated to Ayrshire as opposed to Aberdeen when he moved up from Derby should have set off alarm bells. Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Fair enough if he's going but I don't look forward to watching Bryson "settle" instantly at another club and start performing properly every week. Frustrating. Link to comment

Sonoftherock
We've wasted so much money on guys like this lately (Forrester, Gleeson, Bryson, Tansey) - who is accountable for this? Dread to think of the actually figure we've thrown away! Link to comment
dazzy_deff
By the wording on the report, it seems like he is keen to "quit", therefore, highly likely we will manage to negotiate a lower pay off than his full contract. About the only positive i can come up with the whole situation. Link to comment

His family were in Ayrshire for the majority of the time he was in derby. I work with someone who knows the wife's family. bryson should have been a good signing - but he never got the chance for the injury to heal properly as he was played too early in that euro game, and then he fell out with McInnes over the piss poor tactics he was wanting us to play. Tord31
Stick to signing the likes of McLean, Ferguson and McCrorie. Even if we have to pay £200k-£300k for these guys. If we finally start selling players at some point soon we can even afford to ramp up that line of recruitment. Link to comment
Guest
The Soul Eight, soon to be seven. Fa's next. Devlin then possibly McKenna for a fee. Bryson will sign for Killie after Saturday's game and we'll sign Findlay from Killie after McKenna is sold to the English Championship, Stoke? Link to comment
