Yorston Vasey
We will get a replacement manager with Yank connections, possibly a Scottish bloke managing in the US like Martin Rennie (Indy Eleven) or Neil Collins (Tampa Bay Rowdies). Cormack will take recommendations from his Stateside chums but won't be taking anyone from Atlanta United because we're the junior partner in that arrangement. Unless Stephen Glass turns out to be utterly shit at management in the next nine months or so. 1 Link to comment
Andy_123
Neil Lennon our next manager ? ffs. I think we’d be pleasantly surprised at some of the names who’d want to manage us when McInnes leaves. We aren’t the total shit show we were when we appointed him. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
19 years of pretty shite managers then one cup. we keep Mcinnes for another dozen years & I reckon the stats will be pretty the same but the cup is already in that Link to comment

Ten Caat
Booth could be a shout but doubt Jess with his fairly recent health problems would be up for the stress of it all. Still liking RS suggestion of Duncan Ferguson though. Given what we are paying Mcinnes...he won't be out of our league financially and he wouldn't bow down to the arse cheeks in any way Link to comment

Currently doing his coaching badges if they’re worth anything Link to comment

For Fecks Sake
38 minutes ago, Zander1903 said: im dreaming of a Jess & Booth return Is football not littered with examples of previous club legends taking over as club manager(s) and it not ending well? While Jess and Booth were outstanding for Aberdeen, I am not seeing anything that would point to them potentially being considered serious candidates for any future Aberdeen vacancy. Perhaps if they had proved themselves in the lower tiers but no way would Cormack give them the job based on previous glories. Link to comment

We had a great record against "rangers" just a few seasons back I get what you are saying MM, but given the mediocre level of that hun team, it's safe to say we could have beaten them either way by being positive or negative. A positive outlook would (could) have given more emphatic victories. They were no great shakes. Whatsoever. When he would use the negative tactics against a stronger opponent, such as the Tims, we would invariably be defeated without raising a whimper in response. Link to comment

We've been decent for a while (1st half hour against 'Well apart). I wouldn't describe many of them as fannies, they try but you get what you can afford. Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
That’s the age old arguement though - that discernible “leadership” quality. Best examples at Aberdeen, Miller, Aitken and Hegarty. Unquestionably leaders on the park (as an aside I’d have given an arm to watch Miller being reffed by thon plum the other night. 10 minutes in Willie would have had him telt!). But off the park, just not able to get the same reaction. I always had a theory that the great players didn’t understand why young players needed things explained to them. Often more than once. Tord31
Here he is again. Mr McInnes. Building up enough goodwill to cover a few defeats. He's been a good manager for AFC. Nose bleed territory if we actually win one of these Celtic matches. Link to comment
Mr John
We've been poor for a while, he's changed tactics, done better with transfers in, got the best of players we thought might go and been quicker to axe dross. Stay of execution, innit? Link to comment

Stay of execution, innit? Somewhat. But how much would it buy him if everything goes south quickly? Theres little escaping the poor form of the team over the last 2 years or so. To really overcome that he'd need to finish 2nd or win another trophy. 1 Link to comment
