I’m all seriousness though what would happen if he did get a career ender. Would Huns still have to sign him?

Pre-contract is a private arrangement between a club and a player. Has no standing with football authorities but the wording of them makes it difficult, but not impossible for either party to get out of. A hefty penalty will be due to the other party if one tries to get out of making the contact official on the due date.

Richard Brittain was with Coonty a few seasons back. Signed a pre-contract with St J but for whatever reason decided he didnt want to make it official in the summer and signed a new contract with Coonty. St J were threatening to sue both the player and Coonty but in the end Coonty paid an out of court settlement to St J and it was resolved.

Others were frustrated with the decision but accepted the player wanted to move on. One said: "I can't like this. But all the best Scott! Hope you have a great career! Sad to see you go so soon!"

Another wrote: "Terrible fans giving Scott abuse. Hes signed for a better club with European football, more trophy prospects and obviously a higher wage. It’s a no brainer for him to go!"

So much for their mantra of "No-one likes us, we don't care".

Clearly they do care.

Well for all the Weegie press looking in:

We hate you, we will always hate you so why the fuck would any of us wish Scott Wright well when he moves to an organisation we detest.

Now run along to your own press rooms and write more stories about "scum" Aberdeen fans to satisfy your pathetic readership.

Amen. They let their club die, Durrant dived and if they don’t care about us as a meaningless club leave us alone and fuck off.

Aye, they’ll be listening out for non-existent renditions of a song about the Ibrox Disaster.

I have respect for Gretna, they died, shit happens. They formed gretna 2008 or something and came back in the amateur leagues, that would have been fitting for the hun. The people who followed them should have started supporting their local teams. Would have been so much healthier, you really can't get much pleasure from supporting a team that has nothing to do with you. Like Man utd supporters up here, really is all so hollow.

Do these people really lack so much in life they need it to feel something, I pity them, sad cunts.
