The Mckenna Dilemma

For anyone who hasn't read the article:

McKenna has looked really good so far this season. Much improved from last season. Shame he's not involved today.

I'd be delighted if we can get 4-5 million for him.

Would most likely cover the forecasted losses Cormack spoke of.

He's been class this season. No way will it be under a million.

Playing against dross week in, week out. Totally found out against Israel.

It'll be packaged as multi million, the true figure will be significantly less.

The player wants away, he pissed the fans off in the process, we need the money, jobs a good ‘un.

McInnes has just confirmed a bid has been made, the respective chairmen are talking, more will be said after the game.

Done really well with Hoban this season so in regards to today’s game, with Hoban also out, not great timing especially when it means McCrorie shuffling back, but we move on.

Wonder if we will be taking in a replacement, with Devlin due back soon?

Expect some Cosgrove news in the next week or so too.

you think someone will stump up cash whilst he is still in recovery from his injury? January maybe....if he can recover his form of 9 months plus back

As for McKenna....£3million plus 15% of any future sale would do me. Will be interesting to see if he kicks on down south or totally bombs. I actually think he'll do ok but more because I reckon the quality down there is vastly over-hyped. There's time in this window to try to get the obvious replacement on board in Stuart Findlay. But suspect Killie, knowing we are flush, will ask an unrealistic price and so we will end up trying to get him on a pre-contract in January (maybe with Killie then being a bit more reasonable in agreeing a fee to let us get him in immediately, rather than losing him for nothing 6 months later)

A ‘significant’ but more than like ‘undisclosed’ fee.

the fact they don’t want to name the club is petty.

our new record fee will be ‘undisclosed’ lol

If he signs on it will become public knowledge. Hopefully with this bid becoming public, it might flush out a second interested party (QPR get your fingers out...and your chequebook) and we can get a bit of a bidding war started.
