Confirmed he wasn't concussed, just a deep gash (not Ash) that meant we would have had to play for 10 minutes whilst it got stitched.

Wasn't there some talk of introducing a blood sub, allowing a player to come on whilst the injured player was treated.

Good read. He done the right thing and retired as he was obviously finding it more unappealing every day. Some bad injuries obviously wasn’t good for his body and he must have thought it weakened him more than he liked. 
I wish him well in whatever he does next.

He certainly didn't have a terrible season and that area of the pitch wasn't too much of an issue.

Someone said on here that we did offer him an extension but that at that point, Hoban wanted to keep his options open to see what other offers might arise. Glass supposedly instantly withdrew the offer and as it turns out, was correct to do so given we now know how he was really feeling, mentally and physically.

Got to feel sorry for the guy with all the injuries he had. If he'd avoided them, he could have been a top player. He did well enough for us while he was here, but he's made the right decision if his heart's not in it any more. Good luck to him, always came across as a nice, genuine guy in interviews.

Hoban doesn't have a bad word to say about Del. Would have been great if he lived up to his potential. Seemed to go backwards in the last 12months.
