Yeah I am not sure how folk think Holt would be an improvement over what we are watching.

 

The process for us changing from a good footballing side started with the sale of Hayes. It has been slowly dwindling until now. Where we have one tactic which is to smash fuck out of the football and play for territory.

Harder to argue that any of the current serving managers in the top flight would do worse than McInnes has for Aberdeen with his budget.

That’s not to say any are clearly better or worse but the main fact is that McInnes is far from over performing considering what he has at his disposal in terms of budget & support from board etc.

 

Where as there are examples of late from the likes of Clarke & Robinson & maybe even the likes of Holt that have their sides punching above their weights. Again, not to say this means they are automatically better than McInnes but as far as McInnes himself is concerned & being judged, he has been pretty shite in all honesty, all things considered. Plus negative & boring as fk to go with it.
