He’s been back for five games. We had one clean sheet v Hamilton & have shipped 8 goals in the other four games. That is a better defence is it?

I thought we deserved to win. Taylor and McKenna were solid as it was a style which suited them. Logan was decent but vyner wasn’t great.

St Johnstone game (brought on on 75mins) & today was the first time Anderson has been given more than last ten minutes to get a chance to prove himself this season.

7 cameo appearances to Mains 14. Six starts in the 14 for Main as well.

How the fk can McInnes justify that other than stubbornly trying to prove Main wasn’t a complete wasted signing so gives him more game time than he deserves. Done same with Maynard & May as well to an extent.

 

Anderson has been getting treated like shite by McInnes this past two seasons.

 

He’s more deserving of minutes to prove his effectiveness than Main ffs.

 

Hard for a young lad to prove himself when he’s hardly given much more Than cameo roles, especially when a lot of those times are during ‘game management’ that McInnes loves.

Good result against an in form Livingston side. I felt overall we were the better side and deserved the win.

 

McLennan was a real positive. He's produced a few goals and assists against Livingston in the past year. 

 

Fantastic goal by Bruce Anderson. He did very well when he came on however I'm not getting carried away just yet. I feel deserves more game time to showcase his talents.

 

McKenna was very good again. Thought Main played well although he really should have scored from that cross. He's certainly an improvement on Stevie May. 

 

The Livingston player Dykes is very good. His goal was well taken. Tony Docherty seems to think so too.

Main was very poor and his work rate was less than May. Both are not good enough.

 

I think Main needs a partner and he has talked about this before. He is nowhere near the level of Cosgrove who is an outstanding front man on his own (not always the case).
