So in theory a perfectly healthy person could be asked to isolate multiple times. It's not realistic I'm afraid.

The goalposts seem to have shifted slightly in trace and trace. The way it was initially explained if you were contacted you went for a test, if test was pos you isolate. Now it seems to have shifted to if contacted you isolate no matter what. Not sure this change was explained properly. 

yes, I think they are worried the test is taken during the incubation period of the virus, so would show negative

Schools are clearly more important than pubs. Education is critical and it then allows parents to move from working at home.

The 2 hour drinking slots have a lot to blame for this, people moving from bar to bar when they should and might have stayed in the one place, it should be limited to one venue per day, no time limit.
