So many here posting not on what they really think but what the cult of snp thinks, get a life folks, you won't make any difference to the election result by what you say on a forum. I'm actually embarrassed for you all.

It's a fucking flu bug, kills the old and weak like the flu, what an over reaction the whole thing has been, today's announcement the cherry on the cake. 3 people in intensive care in the whole of Scotland with it, no deaths for days. It's fucking mental how easily scared people are.

You are either fishing or thick as fuck. I've suspected the fishing part for some time now though in not entirely sure.

Weird thing is Scotland has the 3rd highest death rate in the World per head of population from it, a place with very few high density population bases. It's been handled so badly, care homes decimated. Is this maybe an attempt to take our eye off the main story, hang us in Aberdeen out to dry, blame young drinkers.

You're comparing NRS figures which count the confirmed and suspected cases with countries who're only using confirmed cases in their recorded numbers.

Two completely different things. You either know that and don't care that you're talking shite or are actually too thick to tell the difference.

I thought the stat came from excess deaths? Which are the only real way of knowing.

Covid is not a flu bug.  Its a systemic disease potentially affecting many of the body's vital functions - brain, lungs, heart, central nervous system.

There are many opinions on how to proceed from that - but you should accept that this is the bottom line.

We can adopt the logic of the healthy wolf pack and  "protect the economy" by allowing the weakest to die and the next in line to live vastly compromised lives - we do this already for many illnesses, so i appreciate the utilitarian view here that we should do the same for Covid.

Given that the national economy is a make-believe magic money tree anyway, the logical answer is to introduce UBI, so that anyone who doesn't fancy dying on the job can just collect enough money to live on via Universal Basic Income, no strings attached, and let everyone else roll the dice and get on with it.

SNP might well be neoliberal careerists but they say they are up for UBI though they don't have the power to implement it, and the Tories are an obvious Southern Death Cult and won't go near it.

Where that leaves us is whats happening in Aberdeen now... blame and shame.
