Not sure what you mean?

A lot of pubs, restaurants, cafes etc. could go to the wall because of this ridiculous lockdown, they were struggling already due to the first (necessary) national lockdown, keeping them shut when the daily average new cases is 5 or less is unnecessary and absurd.

Because them being unable to enforce basic guidelines is the reason for the lockdown in the first place. So whinging about them being shut looks a bit silly.

Id have cafes and restaurants open but keep pubs shut indoors for now.

Every pub in Aberdeen did that did they?

Nah. Never said that, as you know. Unfortunately though, the ones that did comply are getting fucked by the minority that didn't.

When’s the last time you chinned someone? Potential new thread.

without alcohol being involved?

its a complex subject for a road cyclist

when did you last get threatened physically and therefore asked them to come ahead then only for them to realise they weren't going to back it up (once or twice a month)

how often do you end up fronting it against a total psycho with no boundaries who actually gets out of the motor (once every 5 years or so)

the problem with physical violence is that its too visceral, intimate, far too similar to sexual contact

that said maybe you need to reach a certain age before feeling that deeply

excellent and hilarious example there, cockney don

the boy on the motor bike made a classic mistake though, he carried on in front afterward which would have allowed Ron Pickering to rear end him with his two ton weapon

I'd have got off the bike and fronted up straight away, these cunts never get out of their cage in reality

The 2nd wave is prob 3-4 weeks away for the UK I reckons. At least it's not during December- January.

That'll be the 3rd wave.

The 1st wave is always audacious and really announces itself by  simply bursting onto the scene by daring to be different. The hype alone can often carry it.

Many viruses fall  at that difficult ' 2nd wave' and can often be the make or break of it.

Do you seriously believe that people in pubs in Glasgow and Edinburgh city centres are behaving any different?

Fuck it Parky, I suspect you are fishing but I'll ask anyway, which pubs in Aberdeen weren't following the guidelines? The one with the 'cluster' was visited and found to be following guidelines. The only issue I could see was outside Soul and they'd closed voluntarily.

If there has been a spread in pubs that were following the guidelines then maybe the people writing and enforcing them should have their jobs at risk rather than thousands of bar staff, cleaners, door staff, delivery men etc

The one thing you can guarantee is that that won't happen.

Nobody is following guidelines. We Fucked it up and made ourselves an easy target. Not one Chance folk in Stenhousemuir or Dumbarton are social distancing and wearing masks going for a pint.
