Ten Caat
Are teams drawn at home having to share the travelling costs of the away teams? It would seem pretty unfair if they aren't Link to comment

It would seem pretty unfair if they aren't I think it comes out of the 240,000 euros that they'll receive for being in the 1st round. Link to comment

A victory in the group pays €570,000 and a draw €190,000. Also, each group winner earns €1,000,000 and each runner-up €500,000. Reaching the knock-out stage triggers additional bonuses: €500,000 for the round of 32, €1,100,000 for the round of 16, €1,500,000 for the quarter-finals and €2,400,000 for the semi-finals. The losing finalists receive €4,500,000 and the champions receive €8,500,000.[21] Preliminary round: €220,000 First qualifying round: €240,000 Second qualifying round: €260,000 Third qualifying round: €280,000 Play-off round elimination: €300,000 Base fee for group stage: €2,920,000 Group match victory: €570,000 Group match draw: €190,000 Group winners: €1,000,000 Group runners-up: €500,000 Round of 32: €500,000 Round of 16: €1,100,000 Quarter-finals: €1,500,000 Semi-finals: €2,400,000 Runner-ups: €4,500,000 Champions: €8,500,000 Am I reading this correctly? You get 240k for getting knocked out in the first round but if you get all the way to the play off round and get eliminated you only make an extra 60k? 20k per win? Or do you get 240k plus 260k etc etc? Link to comment
Scotty_Toronto
Prize money for each round, surely. Link to comment

Its not, its payments on elimination That;s why progressing to the group stage is the wholly grail as there is a jump from 300k Euros to 2.92M between the PO round losers and winners. Theres then bonus per result in the groups i.e. 190k Euroes for a draw or 570k Euros for a win Link to comment

The winner of the competition earned (€8.5 million) which later become double for them after including tv rights money and fixed payment on base of the team position." https://www.sportekz.com/football/uefa-europa-league-prize-money/ 1 Link to comment

It was good to see 6 goals, but like you say I remember thinking good times & good football were coming last season when we horsed Chickura (?) 5-0. Some good goals & good football Even Jon Gallagher looked really good. Turns out Chickura were League Two standard, same as Runavík. Look how last season turned out. We can only hope it’s better this season. Link to comment
