The first 20 minutes has shown (if we didn’t already know) that Taylor is not a long-term answer for the back 3 when McKenna leaves.
He’s all over the place.

A good replacement is an absolute must.

He’s had an absolute horror first 20 mins! Looks like he’s won a competition!

McKenna might be a player we don’t fully appreciate until he’s left! Certainly looking like that today!

the words ‘bomb’ and ‘scare’ perfectly describe this defensive horror show!

Hope the fee hasn’t been agreed cos we should be using this example as a good reason to numb it up

McInnes specifically said pre match that Hoban was unable to start this match due to his ongoing rehab, but would be available to come on if necessary as a sub. The insurance premiums we have to pay for someone with 2 fucked knees will be (relatively) astrononomical. It might well be that the insurance underwriters have stipulate that he cannot start 3 matches in a row/ within a set timescale. Remember we only have him on a short term contract

What are they insuring? It's not like he's worth millions

All players have to be covered. Legal requirement. Most teams pay extra to cover wages in even of long term injury....IIRC it kicks in after 6 weeks out. Obviously someone with his history will be more expensive to insure
