Another enigmatic performance. Plenty of good individual performances, especially Watkins, Hedges and Ferguson. However teams seem to have realised if they pack their defence in the 6 yard box, all we can can do is resort to crosses which they just keep on clearing quite easily.

Thought the boy who scored st mirrens goal had a good game and looked abit of a player, pretty sure one of the commentators said he’s naturally a left back but was playing the holding role in midfield tonight, could be worth a look for the left back position

Read it again min. I said it was a wonder goal. Bit of poor defending though as well.

We didnt play that well at times . Thats obvious. But bar the last 15 minutes of the first half we were clearly the better team even when playing beneath ourselves!

Fuck St Mirren and the plucky every man behind the ball and hoof it for a counter attack shite they played!

Ferguson and the new hun lad hardly in the game but we kept going, they defended for their lives, they won't lose many playing like that.

Performance was crap but hard not to be pleased with an injury time winner.

Not at all pretty but it's a results business. One thing we have done well on a number of occasions under McInnes is to turn what is set to be a really bad result against a team we should be beating into a jammy win late on.

I do think if Cosgrove was fit we'd have won that 3 or 4-1 as there were a few good crosses from Hayes that Cosgrove would have got on the end of.
