I hope to fuck Hamilton get relegated. That pitch should never have been approved for the Premier League. In fact I think a lot of players hold back on that pitch for the fear of picking up an injury. I think Cosgrove will be sold in January. Edmondson looks like a centre half that’s been converted to a centre forward. He’s not good enough. First touch is terrible. Main is just garbage & not good enough either. We need two centre forwards in. Link to comment
sooth_stander
Any chance that Derby County might look at McInnes for their new manager? Ok, fair enough....,, Link to comment

Ke1t
Hibs are fairly decent this year, and United seem to be coming to grips with the step up. 3rd is by no means in the bag for us. Link to comment

I agree that 3rd is by no means in the bag, not was it ever, but I totally disagree that Hibs and Utd are decent. Hibs might end up above us but not cos they are decent. Link to comment

The game on Saturday is bigger than the next league game though. We have a semi final defeat at the hands of one of the Glasgow two to play for 1 Link to comment

McInnes/the Dons were never likely to part ways after a 95th minute cup final defeat after a really good effort in the Scottish Cup Final though. I think the COVID outbreak & the season finishing saved him. The way we were playing & the style of football we were seeing, if that continued from March to May I think he’d have been punted possibly. No chance now - he’s here until the end of his contract at least. 1 Link to comment

Is there any chance of Hayes &/or Wright being fit? Both got groin injuries so maybe unlikely. Only change might see McGinn in for Main & playing where Wright has been playing. Hedges & McGinn just behind Cosgrove. The rest the same 1 Link to comment
elephantstone78
I remember when main signed someone linked an article by a football statistician that had analysed the numbers moneyball style for main and Ferguson. The gist of it being that main was unlikely to be any good whereas Ferguson had more potential. he was spot on. Main is pish Link to comment
paddy
Everyone knew that Main was pish when he signed. Smacks of a lazy signing - he was out of contract and McInnes remembered he scored against us once. 1 2 Link to comment
ABERDEENROWIE1903
Do Ojo and Main have fulltime jobs outside football because neither are professional footballers Link to comment

Sonoftherock
Last night was quite a good gauge of the quality of our depth. Sadly there isn't much there! Far too reliant on McCrorie, Hayes & Ferguson to drive this team on. As mentioned - we lack leaders, or urgency when they are out. Players looked like they were just going through the motions tonight. Link to comment

Tord31
Hamilton would have been dead and buried if that one off the post had went in. I think Kennedy can be good enough for this team - he's the only one i would challenge on that list above. Link to comment

No chance now - he’s here until the end of his contract at least. He's the manager until anyone other than Dave Cormack knows that he will not be offered a new contract. As soon as a few people know his contract is not being extended it will become an untenable position. Absolute disaster if everyone finds out. I'm a McInnes fan and I think there is every chance we go backwards on the next appointment BUT every manager has a shelf life. I don't think he'll see 2022 as Dons manager. Link to comment
