He's a forward. He's coming on at 60-70 mins instead of Anderson coming on at 88 mins.

I saw him more as an attacking mid that can play up top, in which case I'd rather Mclennan got the minutes.

If he's an out and out forward then I'd like to see Ruth get those few minutes seeing as he's come back from loan.

As i said though, if he's a roaring success then fair do's. I just have my doubts.

Ruth is able to come on for the last 5. Absolutely no way we are depending on him to play 30 mins or start a game if lads are injured.

It all hinges on where and how McInness intends to use him. Tonight won't tell us everything as Kamberi needs added after.

If during these 13 (or more) games Hendry is starting then fair enough. If he's coming on in McInness usual style for 5 or 10 minutes then I'd rather Ruth got those chances.

I agree if it's 5 minutes.

Absolutely. A few good touches. Thankfully we dont have many games coming up so he should be back.

I think all the strikers will hit the net this season

We don’t know what his injury is yet though.

It didn’t look great they way he went off, like he’d torn something.
I don’t think we’ll see him for a few weeks, & McInnes hinted at that post match.

As much as Hendry scored today, he was pretty rotten, which you’d expect of St Johnstone’s 4th choice striker.

We only have 3 games in the next five weeks so i'd hope thats the worst case
