Aberdeen's performance was a vast improvement on Saturday's stalemate with St Mirren and their continued lack of goals is not for the want of trying.

However, if the Dons are to persist with 3-5-2, they will need to get their wide men much further forward to create more chances.

Much better from Aberdeen tonight.

Balls actually played (not punted) forward, closing players down, movement off the ball, triangles, crosses into the box, shots on goal.

I mean, it's basic stuff, but I hadn't seen it in a red jersey for a while.

Hopefully they've pulled the finger out and we can expect better from now to the end of the season.

Agreed. We were poor in the first 20 to 25 minutes but once we overcame our nerves we played much better football after that. If we can keep this up against Killie we should be OK.
