Aye but that won't be 50 (or 100) positive cases.  One positive case in a class requires them all to isolate.

I'm not saying it is but it's an absolute nightmare for many families, just funny that quite a few on here kept shouting for the schools to be open as kids weren't a risk apparently.

It does appear that the schools are one of the biggest spreaders of transmission. We as a society are paying, in terms of restrictions in other areas, for schools being open being the number 1 priority.

I think that's the right course of action but think the folk who moan about absolutely everything, while their kids still go to school everyday, should maybe take that in to account.

I don't agree with that but given the amount of stick they got for closing school earlier this year I can see why they'd try keep them open, a large amount of posters on here slated the SNP for the decision to close schools, one of them is now saying they should be closed.

Kids being at school allows parents to work therefore helps the economy. 

Kids off school means major upheaval for families and workplaces. 

Kids aren't spreading covid around schools though. The cases have been isolated kids testing positive via family transmission.

You used to get your jabs off the school nurse back in the day, if the snp have not got rid of them in cuts then they could vaccinate a whole school in a day, would stop the little blighters spreading it. They should be first before the old codgers. From going into a care home to exiting feet first the average amount of days is 400 and something, not worth saving really, put them last.

Doesn't help Sturgeon putting ill people into care homes, that's akin to Rudolph Hoss putting people to the gas chamber.
