Something I was thinking before tonight, but even more so now. What was the fucking point in arranging friendlies with teams like Northern Ireland and Gibraltar? Teams that will completely sit in and not offer anything in an attacking sense. Ie a million miles from the type of opposition we'll come up against in Germany.

Gads, that's the sort of thing an English fan would come out with. Did anyone up here really go mad over that result? It restored a bit of belief but that was quickly put back to reality by Croatia

Yep, Gueye was the most pointless signing of the lot. Spending half a million on him makes it even more baffling. We had a really promising young striker on our books who would be perfectly placed to bring on for 20 mins or if the squad was getting rotated. The experience Bavidge is getting at Kelty will also serve him well, but there was zero need to splash out on Gueye

Aye, I often think he plays like Billy Gilmour. Uses the ball well and always looking for it. Not much use further forward but keeps everything moving and rarely gives the ball away. Basically shiter versions of Xavi

Aye Bologna have a similar model to us (albeit on a much bigger scale), they bring in bargains and look to move them on for big money. They will be seeing Ferguson, along with prob Zirkzee as their main assets to sell on in the summer. No way they'd want to allow him to run his contract down

Wasn't aimed at you min, just a general observation. Whenever I've seen folk complaining about them it tends to be Tory MP's, right wing media etc Fair enough if you're against them, I just don't see the big fuss myself

I'd probably be putting Duk and Ramadani in the great bracket too. 'great' doesn't really cover Miovski, who we will likely shift for our biggest ever fee in the summer. Duk clearly hasn't hit the same heights this season, but he came with no big expectations and was one of the top players in the league last season
