Aye now you say that old manny, it makes me reflect on the cock smoking quip, and well - maybe it wasnt the right place to say it.

An amusing ball bust - but maybe better away from the thanks Adam chat.

I've enjoyed you're work immensely Adam - a terrific terrific cunt. good fortune and success when and wherever you go/are.

Your a horse's cock faither. Just come back from Ma Camerons where myself, her indoors, my daughter and son in law had the pleasure of watching the fannies getting thumped 2-0 from the lads from the low countries. The cheers from the punters rang out all over the graveyard, brilliant.

We're coming fourth

we're coming fourth

etc etc

I'm getting too old for this LOL

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you're at it but just to be clear there's only one player to play for us in the last 10 years that's a legend and that's Anderson even then some of the older fans would argue against him being one.

Mate I don't think you understand.

I find Rooney atrocious right, but since I've been a kid we have quite literally had no number 9's to get excited about. Rooney was the first striker I'd ever seen play for the Dons, and score and score and score and score. He also scored the winning pen in the ONLY cup win I've ever seen us get. Technically he's poor, but he'll be a player i'm always going to be fond of. So to me, somewhat of a legend.

Russell Anderson is without question a club legend. To say otherwise is moronic.

Good luck to him. Many would have thrown the toys out of the pram being pushed out of position but he never.

I'll look forward to seeing him bang in some goals on the next series of class of 92

It's all part of the master plan Dazzer. Rooney off the wage bill, a few quid coming our way and the big press conference on Red TV introducing our new loan striker from Accrington Stanley.

Tin hat on but if Rooney was going I would have given Tony Watt a 12 month deal.

Would have been handy for the film reviews too.

Would what you say is an acceptable fee for a player who is 30 years old, top scorer of the last few seasons and contracted until 2020?

For a proven goal scorer who has been played out of position to accommodate two strikers who are not I reckon two hundred grand plus is a good deal for the Dons and Salford. Put it this way if it was May who was being shipped out I do not reckon we would get half that.

For every gravesen tackle there was an incident of being out muscled by Giorgios samaras

Indeed. Legends aren't completely and utterly gash for the first 2-3 seasons with a club either. That we were absolute horseshit back when Cadger was breaking into the team probably allowed him a bit of a grace period after some truly horrific displays and he managed to end up a bit less shit than everyone else. He stuck around for a few years and made us a bit of money when he jumped ship. That to me does not equal legend.

The fact he donated his signing fee to the youth development at Pittodrie is more than enough to earn Russel Anderson the tag of legend. No matter what a few idiots on here think about it.

Ffs MT would label fkn Lee Miller a legend before Anderson, so that shows you the kind of idiots that think they have the knowledge to decide which players of our generation can be classed as legends.

Russel Anderson was 100% for the club & eight broken noses & a few fractured eye sockets & cheek bones will certainly back that up. Even before you add in the fact he donated back his Sunderland signing fee.

Mine Rooney's goal at the semifinal in the opening seconds against Hibs. Mental bounce. I'd keep him until his contract is up. I love the ginger guy. He's better than Stevie May.
