thedandydon
Gets underway tomorrow. Who's your tips this year. Dustin's obviously up there given the form he's in and you'd think Rory has enough experience around Augusta now to really challenge this time around. Spieth is hard to ignore given he's finished no worse than 2nd in his last 3 visits. Will no doubt see the likes of Phil, Sergio and Fowler in the mix but trying to find some value. Link to comment
360
My money is on Kjelldberg. Got 150s at Paddy Power. Link to comment
swifty
With the bookies paying out 8 places at 1/5 of the odds you could do worse than lump on Spieth, Dustin Johnson and McIlroy. Can't see any of them not being in the top 8 (there's only 90 players which is far less than most tour events). Other bets that appeal are Thomas Pieters as top debutant at 7s (Jon Rahm is the danger man in this market) and Fred Couples to finish top 20 at 6s. Link to comment

thedandydon
Shame for DJ but maybe takes the pressure of him a bit (if he's able to play) in terms of expectations so bit of a lottery with him now.Gone Mcilroy (win) and Day, Mickelson, Lowry and Swafford (ew). Rory's prioritised this event so expecting him to be in the mix. The weather should play to his strengths over the first couple of days too. Phil loves Augusta and despite a blip last year i'm expecting maybe one last push for a green jacket this time around. Day could go either way, depending how his state of mind is but things are more positive for him so could use that as added incentive. Lowry and Swafford are wildcard picks really but you never know. vanderark14
My cash was on one for Arthur on Saturday and Garcia for the masters. That's my betting done for another year Link to comment
thedandydon
Pleased for Sergio to finally get himself a major. It was starting to slip away up until the approach to 15. Rose was pretty solid all day up until it mattered. It wasn’t a vintage Masters, mostly due to the US challenge fading. Kuchars hole-in-one the only real highlight besides the Garcia/Rose shootout. Couldn’t believe Phil double bogeyed the 3rd two days running after being 2 under for the first two holes on both occasions. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
Obvious highlight is watching Justin Rose's Mother in the crowd during the 18th finale and then again at the play off. Everyone is gutted Sergio misses the putt on the 72nd bar her in the background.

Rose will get another chance. Not convinced Sergio would have. Good tip for the Open now though.
