Transfers News For The Inferior Teams

That's true.

And McNamara and Hartley at a similar age for us?

It's risk is all.

It's always a risk signing an older player. For example I thought Barton would be excellent up here but he bombed.

I still maintain that Defoe and Davis will do well at the huns this season presuming they stay fit. As far as Whelan goes he could bomb but all you can go on is that he has always been a very decent and consistent professional so the odds suggest he will be decent for Hearts if he stays fit.

Strangely enough JKB are saying that both ourselves and Hibs are interested in Whelan ana. Fuck that. Anyway he hasn't signed for Hertz (yet) and apparently is playing golf with his agent at this very moment.

As for Morrison......just where are you seeing it's a done deal Skins?

The Sun reporting our interest. Most likely shite and if there is any truth in our interest then presumably its from much earlier in the summer before we made all the signings

Loic Damour signing permanently Friday. Cardiff fans telling us he'll do well up here and many think he was worth keeping even if not first XI. Combatative high energy box to box.

Still in for Glenn Whelan but he wants to commute from the Midlands cos his Mrs thinks Tamworth and Dudley are nicer than Edinburgh. That said he'd still be a good signing for a non ugly SPFL side.

Rumours too of a decent Premiership goalie in on loan to avoid playing either of our butter-fingered number 1s. And I wouldn't bet against another loanee on the wing or up front.

That plus Soapy's injury only being 3 weeks, Naisy and Denzel getting fit, Aidy White being a new face at LB, and I think the league push is back on again after our shock defeat at We Were Good In The 80s FC.

You assured us Whelan and James Morrison were done deals...…

I'm assuring you that you are fighting for 5th or 6th with Motherwell.

It'll all go Pete Tong for you when the chill winds of winter take their toll on your squad of senior citizens.
