Aye. heard that double punk is current 1/3 of the cost in Tesco compared with BD Ellon pickup. Also heard your beers go on the long route when you get them delivered to your house near the brewery. Not because I'm cleverer than most of you (which I am) but because I've invested time in the game over 40+ years. Bring it on. First to 15 with the cube and I'll give you 2/1. If you want to play first to 15 that would suggest you think you are indeed beatable. Link to comment

The aim is to have a nice tasting beer. Not comparable situations. I used to play golf when I was younger and you'd see absolute diddies bang on about their new gear. Who cares mate? You're still rank rotten. Invest the £500 you just spent in some lessons to actually make you better. Credit to golf companies though. They're masters of extracting vast sums of cash off folk for things they don't actually need. Link to comment

shut up meg
I haven't played golf in years but the technology in the new clubs can make a big difference to their game and enjoyment of the game. I remember getting a quick hit of someone's new driver, using my own dated driver I was all over the place, using my mates new driver I was hitting the fairways more often than not. Link to comment

I've not played consistently for about 15 years, I'm sure things have moved on considerably I was usually played with 2nd hand clubs that'd belonged to my dad/brother and was still better than most of the club bores who had to spend 10 minutes telling you about their new kit on the first tea of the medal every Saturday. 1 Link to comment
