The concern for me with Devlin was and still is his fitness. Fingers crossed he stays fit as he looks like a good addition.

Understand your reasons for that but a long term injury can happen at any time to any player.

We don't have our problems to seek.

I was worried as he was hobbling like fuck during the last ten minutes. Must have been a bit of a knock as he said after the game he was delighted to get through the first 3 games with no issues.

Change Dominic Ball to Ballon d'om and that's another good effort.

I'd hazard a guess we are putting an offer together for DB

Not his biggest fan but he's a very McInnes player

Guess you can never have too many Any Considine types in the squad.
If we keep him, I hope Mark Reynolds is one of the fkrs making way in the squad/pool for him

I actually think Ball is a decent protector in front of the back four. No coincidence that he was there for all our post-split fixtures last season. Problem is that with both Shinnie and Ferguson alongside him we just lack the creativity to break teams down.

Good player for games like last night, Hibs away in the cup etc.

Falls apart when we're playing the likes of Motherwell at home etc.

I'd be happy with him signing permanently.

Absolutely.

Maybe we should be aiming higher but would there be a possibility he is more suited in the post Shinnie era

Yeah good squad player.  Replace with a No. 10, given more freedom, when we're playing a game where we're expected win.

I’d keep him.

As said he’s probably our best holding midfielder in the games where we need to set up with one.

It’s not his fault McInnes didn’t sign the right kind of players to play alongside him.

make him the out and out central holding player and just stick with that.

either a 442 diamond with Ball as the deep midfielder or a 433 with Ball as the deep midfielder

Ball's deep every time
