ShinnieFGS
Brechin on Sunday, who's going? Not sure if Mcinnes will play a full strength team as the superstars might get a rest ahead of Thursday. Could be a chance for Arnason, Maynard, Wright etc. to get some decent game time. Link to comment

strachanmcgheegoal
Aye, but he meant before Siroki game. Get an assessment of Arnason's fitness and mind frame and give minutes variously to fringe players Rooney, Wright, Storey esp Maynard if it's of benefit to him. Keep that middle 4 wrapped in cotton wool. Link to comment
Scotty_Toronto
Stewart saying that he needs fitness as only good for about an hour just now. Link to comment

BWG
So anyone in attendance? If so how did Kari get on?He did OK. Had the back four organized and was dangerous in their box. No Ash Taylor moments that I can remember. It's clear why Storey doesn't get a game though. No ability to read the game and made a number of poor runs on and off the ball. Think he'll go this window if we get Moult or May in. Link to comment

He's 4 choice for a game upfront and has GMS, Stewart and Wright probably ahead of him in wide positions. We'd probably play Christie or maybe even Rooney wide ahead of him too. If we were to get another striker in then I'd say it's more likely to be Stockley under threat as he'd have Rooney, Maynard and the newby ahead of him and he's not exactly capable of playing elsewhere as far as I'm aware. Edit: Maloney still meant to be signing too which would be another in his way of a game. A loan is an option but with his contract up next summer, maybe little point, but would still give us the option to offer him a new contract if we fancied keeping him after that. Think we'll have bigger fish to fry however Link to comment

Tord31
Team played a 4-4-2 Rogers - A couple of shaky moments. Very good distribution. At the wrong end to see if he should have done better with their goal but it did look postage stamp.Harrington (RB) - looks a very good find and wouldn't bother trying to sign more cover for LoganHarvie (LB) - also looks a very decent prospect so hopefully gets a decent chance this seasonArnason (rCB) - strolled through game with little hassle. Grabbed the headed goal from a Tansey cornerMcKenna (lCB) - caught out a couple of times but his brute force style certainly offers us something different to the other centre backs at the clubWright (RM) - you could tell he's stepped up a bit this season with a few runs but nothing particularly came offRoss (CM) - not his normal position and didn't see that much of the ballTansey (CM) - good game and a great range of passingStorey (LM) - if he had a football brain he'd be a superstar. Finds it so easy to get in the game but wastes the ball continuely. Rooney - Quiet game though he did hit the bar early on. A little bit off the pace and would be surprised to see him starting on Thursday Maynard - Unlucky not to get on the score sheet. It looks like he could have something but will we give him the chance and enough minutes to rediscover itThe subs were all in the last ten minutes so not much to report It's very hard to see Storey and Storie not being binned shortly Link to comment
