Chewie37
If Gleeson is on the way out I'd expect Shinnie to stay til summer. Can we definitely assume this is definite? Link to comment
Andy_123
You can hardly say he’s been given a fair chance of cementing a first team place here. He must be abysmal in training or something because there have been plenty times earlier in the season where he should have been given a chance due to underperformers on the pitch. Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Aye, it's a strange one. Seems to have good ability but kept getting taken off early when he did start earlier in the season. Tommie Hoban must be some fucking midfield player if we're letting all 3 go in one window Link to comment
aberdeen1970
Maybe McInnes is making space in midfield for Chidi to come back Link to comment
aberdeen1970
He's been getting some starts recently though dad. Return of the mac(lean) ? Link to comment
BWG
McGeogh incoming I reckon (no facts - just feelings).Would happily take that. Link to comment
strachanmcgheegoal
return of the mac(lean) I was kennys biggest critic as advanced midfield but deep, with a destroyer beside him and people actually capable of moving for his pass both in the middle and wide. Oh yes Mrs. Link to comment
Ten Caat
Anyone got any "feelings" as to how the hell we could afford McGeouch's wages, bearing in mind we offered to make him the highest paid player at the club in summer yet he still chose Sunderland for a reported £8k/week? Link to comment
Tord31
Or Dundee as BWG has just said For the love of fuck tord - Come on nowLet's wait and see. *cough* sent to Coventry *cough* Link to comment

Tord31
So assuming we dont release him (pay him off) today then I'm guessing he can't sign permanently for an english club this summer? There's probably not been a precedent for this since the new early english window but normally a player needs to have moved from old club to free transfer before the closing of the transfer window relating to new club. I dont think he can be released to free by us on Aug 31st and then sign for some National League team in September? We can still punt him on loan until Sept 2nd Link to comment

He can still sign for a League One or Two club. It's only the EPL and the Championship that have a deadline day today. Link to comment

Every day is a school day. I still think we'll punt him this summer - all a bit strange how he's not been at the club Link to comment
StandFree1982
I'd imagine that it would only be League 1 or 2 clubs would take him now. He wasn't the worst player i've ever seen in a Dons top, it's just we very seldom seem him in a Dons top. Link to comment
BWG
BWG, Hanz and I will all be here to accept everyone's apologies. 4 caps in 11 years, pfft. We'll accept your apologies now, lads. Link to comment
