tup
Stewart is a brilliant player. Never knew too much about him prior to signing. Within 5 minutes of coming on last week I said he's ace. Too good for Scottish football. Birmingham must have some brilliant players if he canna get a game. Link to comment

RAZOR
'Too good for Scottish football' - a complete nonsense statement only used by fans of the English game and oiks. It's up there with 'who do you prefer between Celtic and The Rangers' 2 Link to comment
V for Vendetta
Agreed Razor. A better way to look at it would be that Stewart is too good to be languishing in the reserves or on the bench of an ECL club. Should be playing regularly and fulfilling his potential. Link to comment

Langmin Loon
Good wee holiday that was. Aside from missing our flight due to being too pished and having to fork out £300 for a ticket today. Got a full police escort to and from the game. We just got to wander to the pub at half time to get beer to take back in. The locals were all suprisingly friendly and apologetic about the attack on Wednesday both in mostar and siroki. Police in mostar even gave us a run from one pub to the other in mostar. Chewie37
Seems that was his plan.In his post match interview he stated that the plan was essentially to contain them and quieten the boisterous home crowd.Worked, but took a bit longer than anticipated. Why do I think of the opening scene of Gladiator now? Tord31
We have to enjoy Christie this season & get the most out of him.No way in hell will Celtic sell him to usIf McInnes is still at Aberdeen and Rodgers at Celtic I'd say there's a chance we'd manage to sign him permanently. He'll be in the last year of his contract when he goes back in June Link to comment
Chewie37
Thank you for clearing my previous confusion......perhaps we should hire her as a Redz & Co replacement? Link to comment

There is no way he won't be offered an extension & either in first team, on bench, or at worst sold off down south for bigger fee than we can afford. He has a great season with us & their fans will be raving about him too & raging if Celtic sell him off to us on the cheap. We just need to enjoy him whilst we have him & get used to the fact it is just for this year Link to comment

BWG
Stewart has maybe been working on his right foot whilst he's been away but he was hopelessly one footed at Dundee. Even the Dundee fans at work said as much. Link to comment
fine-n-dandy
Commentators said that A O'C, Logan & Lewis were the only right footers in the starting eleven last week. That's a lot of lefties They don't live as long statistically. Hope Maloney is right footed, otherwise he must only have a short time left Link to comment
Scotty_Toronto
That's a lot of lefties They don't live as long statistically. Applies to left-handed people because of taps, buttons, etc. (If they are right-handed then won't be an issue.) Link to comment

More so than not at least. They also say that lefties are also often a wee bit clevererer than righties in general. Maybe this is how McInnes is thinking hmmmmm, smarter on the ball. Link to comment
Scotty_Toronto
I do everything 'right' (write, golf, baseball, ice hockey, tennis, etc.) and am right-handed and right-footed. My only sibling (a younger brother) also does everything 'right', but is left-handed (for writing only) and right-footed. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Link to comment

Lefties tend to use a different part of their brain from righties. Like I was trying to say, it seems there are more left handed but right footed folk, than there are right handed but left footed. Lefties tend to be more ambidextrous than righties ( probably because of how most things are designed for righties) but it seems that most predominant left footers tend to also be predominantly left handers. Just as most predominantly right handers tend to be predominantly right footed. So there is actually a predominant rhyme or reason to it if you like. Link to comment
