In Scotland it’s been used the way you said but it’s totally wrong. It’s for clear and obvious errors and that’s the way it should be IMO. In the English and European games I’ve seen this season it seems to be used a lot less and it definitely makes it a better experience. It’s fucking awful in Scotland.

Agree with the last part but not the first part. The original decision was no hand ball so needs to be conclusive to overturn. Any doubt then the decision sticks. The issue is that in Scotland they haven’t used VAR that way this season.

It’s not conclusive it’s in the box. Good decision for me. If it was in the box they’d have to give it but it’s stupid that is a penalty nowadays.
