 In any case, Catholics do not really care about a persons background one way or another - today, 50% of Scots Catholic marry people from different backgrounds.

 

That would suggest 50% of them care.

Actually that's pretty flawed logic on 2 counts.

 

You've confused the 50% figure of those marrying people of different backgrounds with being a 50% that don't care.

 

Then fallen into the trap that the opposite must be then be true for the other 50%.

 

So, no.
