Well it's currently with the courts, so they have launched it. If they get told they have a case to go ahead go further, why wouldn't they? No benefit to them to say they have the money when they don't, or launch an appeal if they don't want to see it through.

I'd be amazed if they were allowed to launch a full appeal, I think the courts will knock it back.

I do too. I think this will all be over by November.

Instead they'll focus more efforts on the footbridge, the CPZ, Arnhall parking, prime four extension/drive thrus, just basically being as big a pain in the arse as they can in the forlorn hope that it'll make Milne go "Ach fuck it, it's too much hassle, let's just liquidate the club and ask everyone to support Cove".

Checked out St. Mary's at Southampton yesterday.

Some interesting observations:-

10 mins walk from city centre

Minimal parking facilities - maybe enough for staff and corporate

Surrounded on 4 side by

   -  Major road at main entrance side

   -  Gasworks (just like we used to have) at one end

   -  Warehouses and units at other end

   -  Railway line at other side (doesn't stop at ground).

No training facilities here

Surrounded all the way round by a decent size concourse

Cycle stands for approx 200 bikes

Ground holds just over 30k

Nice stadium

Couple of local boozers but no worries, since only 10 mins into town

Given it's been kinda squeezed in, they made a good job of it

Not what I expected - I thought they had somewhere well out of town

That may be a solution to the shuttle bus dilemma . A dedicated bike lane and every cunt cycling to the match.  :hysterical:

Could move the ParkRun to 1.45pm on Saturday afternoon too. Start at Castlegate, finish line at Kingsford.

There we go some nice lateral thinking lads, problems solved. Lovely

How about Afc apply for licences for 8 pop up pubs along the route from town and we let people beer cruise along the walk - get the piss heads fit and healthy too.

The reality of where we could end being based is starting to hit home - out in the fucking wilds, far from the spiritual home of the city / beach.

Pittodrie is in a poor state but at least it is in the right location.

Progress...we`ll see.

It might be the right location for some. But for anyone driving into games, it's an absolute nightmare getting home after games. Aberdeen City Centre is filled with bottle necks, namely Market Street going south.  I can't actually wait till we move.

Will be a total switch really. Think it'll be far more of a 'nightmare' for anyone not going in a car to Kingsford, than for those that can sit in their own car in a direct journey now.
