V for Vendetta
http://www.arabtrust.co.uk/current/?670-a-joint-statement-from-arabtrust-the-federation have a read of this and then look at the blue knights comment after it. heres a snippet regarding the legal position of utd when charging their own support and the huns twice for the rearranged game with regards to the content disputing dundee were in the right because a court said so, thy may have been lawfully correct, but morally correct thy were not, we ALL have families to feed, and mr thomsons sons legal position was what mattered most, he took food from your kids mouths too tht night, we all payed double, which yes was ruled lawfull, but yourself aswell as mr thomsons son knew and continue to know, tht the moral thing would have been to do what other clubs do in the situation, and go by the 1 match 1 ticket scenario. Usual lies from them to suite the agenda of the day then. They did not pay double - the re-arranged game was charged at half price. In effect they paid for and got a game and a half of football. The home fans all had to pay for the re-arranged game as well so everyone was treated the same. These mongo's just sitting around day after day making shit up to justify their belligerant, triumphalistic, sectarian soaked, attitude to everyone else. If they don't have cause to complain they make it up. To be honest they always have and as Aberdeen fans we've seen this very well over the years. It will never change because the only factor that would stop or slow them down would be a Scottish Media telling them a few home truths and correcting them when they twist the facts and that simply will never happen in Scotland. The authorities similarly will never step in to correct them or pull them up on the lies. 1 Link to comment
rgudon
Tried to have a wee debate on this last night with a few sevco fans on FB, it didnt get past, "WATP, 500,000 a week, we are the only show in town and everyone is obsessed with us" was good for a laugh though to pass the time whilst watching dortmund demolish man city. 1 Link to comment

tup
I said yesterday sevco should be charged with bringing the game into disrepute so I hope the SFA take swift action against this new club. Otherwise you would have to say the SFA are corrupt, and biased. Link to comment

They did use a capital letter I suppose but at least used the 'the' Link to comment
Karl Fletcher
Good statement from United. Scottish Football will continue to go backwards while these hun fuckwits are involved. I look forward to the day when they're expelled from our Leagues forever. And the way this idiot, Green, carries on pandering to the hun masses, you'd think there is an outside chance of that happening at some point. In the meantime, they're still good for a giggle Link to comment
muttondressedaslamb
It would be great to play Sevco at Pittodrie and have none of their zombie fans there. Bloody brilliant atmosphere. Link to comment
caledonia
Looks like UTD will have to give them a share of the gate receipts if you believe this.http://sport.stv.tv/football/clubs/dundee-united/204234-rangers-dundee-utd-and-scottish-cup-tickets-your-questions-answered/ Link to comment
muttondressedaslamb
Boo!Of course it would be too much to ask for Sevco to do the ethical thing and give the money back to DUFC Link to comment
RUL
To be fair, and I hate Huns, how would that be the ethical thing to do? It's bit like when a div 3 team draws the old firm away and takes 50 fans, they are still entitled to the gate receipts as outlined in the competition rules 2 Link to comment
zander
Things is teams are making the effort to bring fans to add to the cup atmosphere. the Rangers are trying to turn the game into a political war. As for the quote about feeding kids etc. it's sick the level these morons will stoop to try and incite hatred. Link to comment
Tommy
I do think united were out of order announcing at abandoned game thatit would be free admission at next game and then made it reduced prices.I think the new huns are as much a bunch of scumbags as their predecessorsand hope united hump them. Fuck the rangers then, fuck the rangers now, fuck the rangers forever. Link to comment

It's bit like when a div 3 team draws the old firm away and takes 50 fans, they are still entitled to the gate receipts as outlined in the competition rules Because at least they take their fans. Any zombie huns who wanted to go were going to be faced by a violent picket of their fellow fans. And now, if they actively boycott the match by not taking the allocation then they shouldn't get the money. Rules are rules, but they can be changed and should be when football teams start acting like petulant kids. 1 Link to comment
RUL
What rule change would it be though? That you have to take tickets? How many would you have to sell? Link to comment
muttondressedaslamb
That if you act in an unprofessional manner you don't get the gate receipts. Link to comment
Tommy
What rule change would it be though? That you have to take tickets? How many would you have to sell?sfa are to discuss tomorrow as they have power to amend the existing rules. As has been suggested, utd should charge Link to comment
paddy
Its annoying that Sevco can get away with this. If any other team, outwith the green and blue arse cheeks, pulled this 'not taking ticket share' stunt, then that team would be punished. Sevco are setting a standard within Scottish football. A bad standard. It's sickening. Got fuck yourself 'The Rangers'. Link to comment
muttondressedaslamb
Has any other team acted like this before or have Sevco set a precedent? I'd be surprised if any other team has acted like this, actions such as these really are the preserve of the great unwashed. Link to comment
sheepiekev
That if you act in an unprofessional manner you don't get the gate receipts. As part sponsors in terms of TV coverage, Sky insist on both clubs promoting the games and the competition. You could argue that by encouraging a boycott, the Rangers are not doing so.Then again, this boycott is giving the game (and therefore Sky) more publicity than they normally would've had got for the match. red donut
great opportunity for the arabs to get families along at discounted prices and fill the stadium for a cup game. as much as i hate united, i hope this really works out for them cause we need families back in the grounds. plus when else can you watch (and quite possibly pump) the orcs and not hear any of their sectarian bile??? Dynamo
The huns have annoucned their share of the gate is going to charity. Unless of course United say no, and give it to their own charity that they support or whatever. Come to think of it, they can fuck right off after last seasons shambles and giving United their gate money. Link to comment
Pudgie
The huns have annoucned their share of the gate is going to charity, they've got United over a barrel there. Unless of course United say no, and give it to their own charity that they support or whatever.Depends what charity it is. You've got a great idea there though. I'd hate to see them pouch cash off of this or put it to the RFFF. Why are they boycotting anyway? I've yet to hear a coherent sentence reason from a sevconian. Link to comment

Or maybe Charlie realised they were being proper cunts and the hun PR team had an emergency meeting. Otherwise where was the mention of this charitable donation in the orginal statement?
