  1. IIRC he was signed as a direct replacement for Andy Watson. I'm sure the fee we got for Watson pretty much covered what we paid for Stark. I also think he had a better than 1 goal in 3 appearances for us despite not being an absolute first choice starter. Maybe because he came in a few weeks after we lifted the ECWC he wasn't viewed in the same esteem as the players that had but overall in his 4 years or so with us I think we got good value for our very modest outlay on him
  2. Apparently he's on £650k/year on his second spell. There's written evidence of this too if anyone wants to go looking, i can't be arsed finding the link but it is there if you look
  3. Just as an adjunct to a small disagreement a few of us had the other day about O'Neill's NI salary level.....here's written back up as to what my side of the argument were saying. Whether anyone chooses to believe it or not is up to them....but at least proves we weren't making up figures in our heads https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sunday-life/sport/irish-fa-only-have-eyes-for-michael-oneill-as-they-try-to-strike-a-deal-for-their-former-managers-return-to-the-international-hotseat/42140207.html
  4. Auditory hallucinations are a bastard to treat
  5. Yep, he should be banned sine die from any Dons events for what he said a few seasons back. I'm paraphrasing here but the gist of it was he joined oldco as a lifelong Dons supporter but playing for them got into his soul and now he was a confirmed Hun and would remain so for the rest of his life
  6. ffs........3rd time lucky Fri.....Wimbledon v Harrogate........Wimbledon to win 8/15 Sat Hearts v Killie BTTS yes 3/4
  7. The converse argument to that.......no matter what you think of Cormack overall.....is that he saved the club spending cash via managers who were all proven to be shite at their jobs, and recruitment in particular. There is no dubiety that in all 3 cases, he waited far too long to bullet them though
  8. Friday.......Bristol C v Leicester............Leicester to win 7/10 Saturday..........Hearts v Kilmarnock.......BTTS yes 3/4
  9. FFS was just away to post Barnsley to win against Cambridge as my Friday pick. Back to the drawing board
  10. Remember before we appointed Clarke we offered O'Neill the Scotland job when he was in his first spell as NI boss. And he turned it down because what the SFA were offering was supposedly nowhere near what he was earning already
  11. Doak's been out injured since December. Was initially thought after surgery he'd be out for the season but he's recovered well and should be available for action by mid to late April.
  12. We were paying McInnes a shitload more than that years ago
  13. Well if that's the case his wages wouldn't be a problem for us. The question then arises as to how much compo the IFA would be due to secure his release. Here's hoping it's a hefty figure. I just don't want him anywhere near us.
  14. That's only about £10k/wk. I suspect he's on a wee bit more than that
