Sevco Thread

You are clearly of the opinion that the media are not fully aware of this fact but were desperately burying it until after the float. Ah to be young and naive (sp?) again.

Walter has a bit of a dilemma now. It's been apparent to anyone with a nous of business sense that smiffy, the BKs, the bus mannie, possibly even Murray in the background were holding out until the Sevco bus crashed again. This follows their disappointment that the sevco bus ever got going in the first place, damn that post CVA agreement for the 5.5m, but then heh, they'll never get away with that surely..... They would then ride to the rescue albeit to buy a rusty div 3 tandem bike, still with stabilisers on, rather than the SPL fleet coach they left behind. If the cardigan man stays out then I think its goodnight vienna for the green charade. Once the establishment decide their strategy expect a DR exclusive along the lines of Smith&co ready to pick up the pieces, something like that. Strategy of course base on the SPL enquiry - no point buying a club that faces sanctions other than some token trophy re-engraving surely.

Cynical, moi

Please remember folks Zeus are Ticketus and Ticketus own Rangers. This trinket of information is getting kept well away from the media it seems.

RM are saying it's Zeus PARTNERS and not the actual Zeus Parent company - who own le scum - that are being investigated. Can anyone tell me if this is the case or have I missed something?

Zeus capital are a legit gang of spivs who have provided the key personnel for the new hunbo board and are widely thought to be the frontage of what is essentially the old ticketus debt (remember them). Zeus Partners are a legit offshoot of this (Zeus Capital) who came up with an offshore tax scheme into which substantial earnings from wealthy individuals were invested in film projects. Think EBT sellotaped onto Donna does Dallas. HMRC are investigating this latter bit - the EBT not Donna. Interestingly it brings focus into the zeus capital shareholding (who exactly are they - remember Greens famous consortium) and brings into question why they have invested in der Hun - remember Green has stated that all the floatation funds will remain in the club as working capital - that's right, that's why investment firms invest in football clubs, its because they want to see them do well on the park and because they've always wanted to play for the rangers ever since they were wee boys......

You can fool all of the bearz some of the time, a significant number all of the time but surely, shirley, some of them will eventually see the light, then lets see who's waiting in the wings.

Of course, the inconvenient truth that all Sevconians are ignoring is that if it was the same club, there would have been no need whatsoever for any of the bullshit in the summer, and Rangers could have taken their place in the SPL. Unfortunately, Rangers were liquidated and The Rangers had to start at D3.

This really pisses me off.

They don't understand that the rules are that if a club is liquidated, then they no longer exist and cannot continue in the league. They asked if the NEW club could go straight into the SPL, which was denied by clubs, as they had to start from the beginning, like any NEW club should. They actually got preferential treatment as they got into Div3 without question, where-as other proper run established clubs vying to get into the top leagues were ignored.

Correct.

It's up to us to continually hound the media to hammer home this message.

I've put a couple of comments on there which I'm looking for an editorial response to but I won't hold my breath, these idiots do not go in for rationale.
