caledonia
I went to Costco via the new road this week, from the middle of town on a quiet night, took fucking forever, the site just isn't right, won't work.Try getting out of awpr onto south kingswells big roundabout at rush hour and that is before whole bypass open nevermind a football crowd No lights at that roundabout at all Link to comment
The Cockney Don
Bristol City v Wolves this afternoon on BT Sport, chance for us to look at Ashton Gate, from which large parts of the plans for our new stadium have been taken. Hope the TV cameras aren't up that high though. Link to comment

Why would you do that? 1 Link to comment

King Street Loon
Try getting out of awpr onto south kingswells big roundabout at rush hour and that is before whole bypass open nevermind a football crowd No lights at that roundabout at allI mentioned this to someone about a month ago. That exit onto the roundabout is an accident waiting to happen. To many people getting impatient and pulling out onto the roundabout far to close to oncoming traffic. Also going round the roundabout after eciting the ramp from the left hand lane which is supposed to be left turn only.Need part time lights installed on that roundabout like the have eastwards at Kingswells. That’s the whole point of roundabouts. The one at the airport turn off boils my piss. Lights there when there is no need. Maybe have a set on from 7.30-9am and 4.30-6pm but otherwise it’s just unnecessary stopping of traffic on a quiet road. Link to comment

Never had an issue?? Obviously a football stadium is going to increase volume but that roundabout is currently fine IMO Link to comment

It just has changing rooms, physio rooms, offices etc. I actually thought it looked pretty big when you see all the big lorry’s alongside. Like someone said previously you don’t really get the sense of size until the walls go up. Exciting stuff seeing the progress though Link to comment

With the trucks and cranes it does look a decent size, just maybe not as big as you’d expect for a large training/community facility? Link to comment

fine-n-dandy
I think it looks tiny because it’s really far away......& it was quite cold the day the photo was taken. Anyway, it's not that small it's easily as long as the width of a football pitch.Probably not far off as big as the footprint of the DD stand. Maybe not the whole footprint but the lower concourse inside bit maybe 1 Link to comment
