#1904173 Ronald Hernandez

Posted by CalgaryDon on Today, 11:08 AM

Messi has played against a lot of defenders.

Doesn't mean they are good just because they've lined up in the opposite team.

Not writing the loon off but clearly McInnes is not of the mind to use him, at the moment anyway. 3 nil up at Hamilton and he didn't come on. There was a message there

Venezuela are a fairly decent footballing nation. To receive 16 caps by the age of 22 is pretty good going. We signed him on a 4 year deal. Another indication he's a decent player. He just needs time to adjust. He's played half a game and folk are writing him off.

Logan has actually been decent despite what some would have you believe. It allows Hernandez the time to integrate himself into the squad without adding too much pressure on him. We'll see more of him next season and I'm sure he'll prove his worth. Give it time.

#1902973 Summer Transfer Window 2020

Devlin and Considine would do a better job than Scott at the moment. Cosgrove
is eminently replaceable.
I know this last bit will get the juices flowing but main had a good game and did twice the work that Sam does in a game

I don't agree with everything you post however I do somewhat agree that we can replace Cosgrove. He has actually been a tremendous signing given how much we paid for him and the number of goals he's scored. However, as McInnes commented today in the press, we have been heavily reliant on him as the main source of our goals and Cosgrove has taken on a huge burden as a result. McInnes has been setting the side up to play to Cosgrove's strengths - the problem is that when Cosgrove isn't producing - we aren't capable of scoring.

What we witnessed against Hamilton on Tuesday night was the removal of all our troubles (of late). Cosgrove was benched allowing the side to set up in a different formation which paid dividends. It allowed McGinn, Main and others to have more freedom to attack and it wasn't a case of lumping the ball into the box. McGinn's goal was a really well worked team goal. We played some nice football particularly in the first half. We weren't so predictable and Hamilton didn't anticipate that and couldn't cope in the first half (3-0 by half-time was no fluke). Ojo (MOTM) benefitted greatly as the ball wasn't bypassing the entire midfield like we have been use to in previous matches.

I'm not sure we'll have many suitors for Ferguson, Mckenna or Cosgrove this coming summer. And I'm ok with that. If Cosgrove is sold, I'd like to go for both Ross Stewart and Dykes. Both have impressed me when they have played against ourselves and I believe they are better then our current crop of forwards. After Tuesdays performance I'm more inclined to give Main more time to impress before writing him off completely. He did very well on Tuesday albeit against Hamilton.

Gogic looked a good player for Hamilton tonight. Apart from his performances against Aberdeen I can't say I know much about him.

A few have mentioned he is out of contract at the end of the season.

McInnes IN

lets see what happens over the next few games

I want McInnes to remain. Tonights result has put us into third spot and we are still in the cup. Main was a real positive.

McGinn needs to remain playing in the number 10 role. Should of happened a long time ago!

Main has been fantastic!

We need Micky Mellon.

We need to get behind the team and the manager. Pittordrie is toxic. We'll pick up results on the road.

The manager needs backed, he's not omnipotent.

I'm still backing McInnes despite the recent poor results. I think the fans need to get behind the team. Amazingly, we are still in the cup and are only 3 points behind third. We actually have a better chance of winning at Rugby park due to the fact Killie are less likely to sit in and defend. At home, teams are just playing for a point or they are incredibly clinical and score their once chance of the game to win.

9k fans in attendance with 600 killie. Saturday 3pm Scottish cup home kickoff with less than 9k Aberdeen fans....

Shows the state of this just now.

Why is that a shame?  Motherwell are welcome to the weegie ned

I'd take Watt over both Anderson and Main.

2-0 Aberdeen.

Bookmark this one - I'm making a bold prediction. Yesterday's result may have put into a state of delusion  . We are utter tripe and yesterday was as bad as I've seen us play this season. Having said that, I believe that result was/is the catalyst (and kick up the backside) for the remainder of our season. Cosgrove will still be up for ballon d'or after continuing his early season form. The players will get behind McInnes. We'll beat Killie and go on to finish third.

Controversial opinion but Ferguson needs dropped. Been poor for some time.

To be fair to him I think anyone would struggle to make a positive debut in this current team.
We've certainly not seen the best of Kennedy or McGeouch since they signed.

Kennedy has been easily our best player today. He's the only one willing to attack. McGinn has made a difference since his inclusion. McGeough has been poor today I agree.

Gallagher should never play for us again. Awful player.

Utter tripe. Thats worse then the St Mirren performance. We are so poor. Devlin has improved us incrementally since he's come on. Considine, Hedges, Gallagher, Cosgrove, the list goes on. Absolutely shocking. Get McGinn on.

Kennedy has looked good but apart from that nothing. I actually think we've missed Leigh since he's been injured. He'd often make a run on the overlap. As the Redtv commentators have said, Gallagher just isn't suited for the number 10 role. He looks completely out of place.

Motherwell are losing and yet again we are not taking advantage. We constantly throw away chances (just like last season) to pull ahead or even catch up with those in and around us. Why do we lumber forward in our attack?

He's got to drop Gallagher. I can't seriously believe there is a deal to give him game time. Even a disinterested McGinn is far better.

Even the Red Tv commentators have complained about him. Terrible.
