From both those interviews we won't be doing wholesale shifting of staff. Some out, some in. I'd imagine the bankable players will be out and the out of contract too but that'd be it. Very much doubt we'll be eating contract costs to shift in contract players so don't go getting hopes up for that. Miovski and Duk we might shift and maybe some of the fringe players we'll wear but I doubt any more than that. Hell you might find given the way Thelin plays he might be another manager trying to get a song out of Shayden up front. In any case I doubt there will be massive change this first window. I'd imagine there will be tinkering like I say above, a bit more in the winter window and maybe end of next season is where bigger change might happen.

He's not going to turf out people before he's here; but I imagine Leven is probably safe given he's demonstrated getting us points out of nowhere. Where Samson sits... who knows. Just got to wait and see. But yeah enjoyable interviews; that Thelin one in particular, getting a wee insight to his approach. There was nary a nose rub, ear howk, 'ye know', 'are you with me' or anything else untoward in it.

Surely the delay is only down to them saying they won't let him go until they get THEIR replacements in and us agreeing because we're decent sorts. Let's just say it's that and hope they get their replacements in more quickly. I mean for them their season is just getting under way (right?) so makes sense for them to want that more quickly.

Well that's only 9:30pm so no reason to not stay up for that so I'll be there and grin and bear it with the rest of you.

We either fluke a win by defending astonishingly and getting a breakaway goal and win 1-0 or more likely 0-4. Not decided if I'll stay up for it. When is it? 3pm? If so probably not. Not unless Thelin is announced later today and taking the team from tomorrow. 😁

Planet Crafter has been fun. Oh replaying Outer Worlds with the DLC was great too, and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a fun wee blast every now and then. Apart from that no enjoyable games this year.

They have found - but without enough studies to verify it - that they help for certain things absolutely. For instance, kids (I recall it was them in particular) who have epilepsy leading to grand mal fits that are life threatening but don't respond to other medications have responded positively with THC. I seem to remember those with cancer were seeing pain benfits too; though that might be just too high to give a damn. I do think it should be used but it should be used as part of studies. There's no point doing as they do here and prescribing it without using that as an exercise to gather evidence one way or the other. In my case it wouldn't be positive. I'm sure for others it would be. If I get the shoulder off and the arm stuck on then how am I going to scratch my arse? See? You hadn't thought it through had you. In any case the injection in the shoulder fixed the not-able-to-move-it bit. Might need surgery to fix the other bits though the first surgeon I saw (who was fuck all use - he's the reason I had 3-4 years of no change - saw a second surgeon and he straight away said the injection thing and a week later boom, done) said nothing can be done for the tendons... because I'm not an athlete. wtf.

Yeah that's it. A point. Points are like gold for us right now given how shit we are and how precarious our position is. Woeful watching though.
