It's my excuse (pathetic) and I'm sticking to it.

i go all week (provided I dont go to the pub) without smoking, but as soon as I go to the pub I want to smoke.

 

Pain in the arse.

 

I know its purely psychological for me, but clearly deep down I want to continue. Despite the fact I dont.

I stopped smoking good few year back only had the odd tab fan i was scoofing, now am back full time smoking and thinkn oh chucking it in again. But the love oh an after meal tab, the draming tab and on the odd occasion the dialt tab. I just don't think I'll be able to bin it!

I usually prefer it in the afternoon once Iv had a bite to eat, then I can relax (sometimes with some poppers) and un wind with a big preferably Black Bobby to smoke..........

Well done LGIR - another couple of weeks and you have it broken. After that, if you choose to smoke it is like starting again - not that sensible a move as an adult. I can forgive myself for starting to smoke at 11 years old, I don't think it would be a good decision at 41.

Hasn't been a problem stopping. 4 weeks now,no vaping, patches, chewing gum or anything else to assist. Cold Turkey; it's the Mark of a Man...

 

Included in that four weeks was one sociable evening spent in a pub and a full on start at lunchtime finish in the wee small hours session.

 

 

I have my stash in my cupboard - 120 free to a good home. Mr Tripping won't be getting them as he never replied with a 'thank you' when I offered them to him earlier in this thread.

 

He can take his bad habit and voilent tendencies and poke them right up his nicotine stained arse.

Giving them up made me physically better, don`t get many coughs and colds now,

but it fucked me up mentally .
