Few points from tonight.

  • 5800+ DNA Subscribers and £600,000 raised after VAT.
  • Only really scope for two more signings. Means more loans folks. Wants the signings in before Burnley game.
  • Tough competing now against English league salaries.
  • Scouting in europe only just beginning. When they arrived the scouting network was a shambles. So they decided to focus on the british isles. McInnes prefers a british dressing room, but they are now in a position to scout foriegn leagues and are now actively analysing certain players. Says to not be surprised if there are foreign players brought to the club in the future. Slagged off Hearts 'scatter gun' approach to foreign players and not been a single player they've brought in that he would have at AFC.
  • DNA has bought GPS tracking equipment for all players as part of the focus on sports science. Made a joke that it was handy for keeping tabs on GMS.
  • Biggest disappointment was the performances in the cups last year.
  • They all think the refs in scotland have gotten worse and Doc and McInnes feel that Shinnie was unfairly targeted by the refs.
  • Doc has high hopes for Bruce Anderson.
  • Scott Wright let himself down last season. Didn't do enough in training to warrent a place in the team. McInnes does think his time will come though.

That's the main points in can remember.

Yep. Mini was panned for stating the club were going to spend on that gear.

Someone insisted they knew for a fact the club already had all the equipment already.

Only disappointing thing for me from original post was that we can only bring in 2 more.

If so, should we really be bidding for players? Might be better using that as wages for another option.

Decent summary - only other points I remember is DM would buy Suarez or Kane if someone invested Euromillions jackpot win but DM joked Milne already had more cash than such a win. New Commercial Dirctor spoke well at start and hopefully Shinnie will agree a new deal soon but we're up against teams like Scunthorpe paying bigger wages

Yeah, KSL summary covers most of it.

They Shinnie about signing new contract and he was trying to say all the right things about how he loves the club, loves being captain and of how proud he is to represent us .... but his next contract decision is a massive one for him and a big decision with the stage he is in his career. But it would take a special offer to persuade him to leave what he has here.

It was when Derek was asked about recruitment he said that obviously raising funds from things like Aberdna are a help but they are up against it when league 1 clubs can go and offer big money and clubs like Scunthorpe can pay people sums like 6 or 7k a week. Then said probably shouldn't say that in front of Shinnie.

2 more signings and relying on loan players doesn't sound very promising.

Yeah I agree with you tonight Razor, trying to convince myself it's enough but doesn't feel right given how many left and the gaps.

Wonder if Tansey leaving would allow a third one to come in?

Or might it be 2 more experienced guys plus a McInnes wildcard or 2?

Then he said he probably shouldn't say that in front of Shinnie.
