Why is it a joke? How many other clubs outside of Celtic have won more than 1 trophy in the last 5 years? You do realise two of the four second place finishes were achieved with Rangers in the league?

Hearts been back in the top league for 4 years now so that argument doesn't stand up. Hibs had a top 4 standard squad while they were in the first division. Sevco have had by far the second biggest budget in Scotland since their inception and have won sweet fuck all in their 7 year existence despite probably spending 10x what we have in that period.

It would have been great to have won more than 1 trophy but we have reached 4 cup finals. Unfortunately whether you like or or not in 3 of them we came up against a far superior team who went 24-0 in domestic cup ties under Rodgers at Parkhead.

That's why I said at various points, for a few season we had the next biggest budget, as soon as Rangers get back here we were told to lower our expectations and just at the start of this season we were told that "second place is as good as it will get for the club" along with the chairman saying it's great for us to have a strong rangers and that a stadium in the sticks will be a sign of his success and a legacy.  You look at the cup draws we've had, last year was a complete shit show, humiliated by Motherwell TWICE, that's Motherwell that have a sliver of a budget that we do, getting to the semi finals and the final again should be the bare minimum when you take it all in to account.

As for the two second place finishes when rangers have been in the league it was harder to finish below them than it was to finish above them, they were a shambles both season, just look at the amount of times they fucked about with their manager last season.

Lol

You DO understand that with the vast improvement against the Glasgow two, something had to give?

You can't be brilliant against the top teams and the bottom with our budget

I'm not sure I follow your logic.

How does getting results against Celtic and the Huns affect our ability to beat St Mirren and Hamilton at home in the weeks before those games?

He doesn't do logic. He only does moronic

He seems to think that 'great wins come at a cost' & you have to sacrifice points to lesser teams to get extra points v the arse cheeks.

No it wasn't harder to finish below Rangers at all regardless of their managerial issues. If that was the case a very good Hibs side would have finished above them last season as well but they didn't. We've never had the next biggest budget in Scotland that was always Sevco even when they were in the third division. So with their budget they technically should have been second favourites for both cups for each of their 7 year existence and they still won fuck all. We finished 9th 3 seasons running before McInnes came along and put some professionalism and pride back into the club. Yet you say it's a joke that he's "only" won 1 trophy in 5 years? If you expected us to win trophies in bunches well the last non old firm manager to do that in Scotland was Fergie which says it all.

Every club has disappointing cup results (except Celtic in recent times it seems) it's the nature of cup football. It's not exactly easy to win cups in Scotland outside of the ugly sisters ask Hibs or Hearts fans who have won a grand total of 7 between them in the last 56 years.

He's saying if we get consistent results against both of the arse cheeks and the rest of the teams in the league as well then we'd win the league. But winning the league is highly unlikely with our budget.

He's basically saying it's very unlikely we could be that consistent over a whole season. Slips ups will happen so if not against the cheeks then against other teams. Our squad isn't deep enough either in size or quality to win almost every week.

There's no doubt we're more solid this season in the big games and are definitely harder to beat in that sense. But we have sacrificed a bit of creativity for that extra solidity we haven't adequately replaced what Christie or McLean brought to the team which means breaking down the lesser sides is tougher than it was last season.

Well translated. If only he had actually said that rather than speaking shite.

We won some, we have lost some & we have drawn some but are performing above average in some games but below in others in terms of budget/ expectation

Not like him to create a big drama & seek attention over it at all
