  1. Always good when folk give me stick for my posts then proceed to post some of the worst shite imaginable, all credit Hoppy.
  2. You've heard wrong, unfortunately.
  3. Zan Medved, could be a decent replacement for Miovski.
  4. Sorry state of affairs this, the boy we sounded out as our number 1 target quite clearly isn't that interested now yet we're sitting hoping he takes the job.
  5. Waiting on O'Neill by the look of things with lennon and random Europeans as back up.
  6. It's not am ambitious plan for fuck sake, plenty of other clubs have achieved it without half as much issues as we have had. The plans in theory often sound good but time after time the execution has been abysmal. A totally inexperienced DoF, rookie managers, some dreadful recruitment at a bit of a cost, failure to act when it's clear things are not good which also results in little to no Jan window activity as he's backed himself into a corner where he wants the manager to continue but can't bring himself to full back that manager. I'm sure Cormacks heart is in the right place but he quite clearly has an ego and he quite clearly thinks he's way smarter than he actually is when it comes to football and that is what is causing a lot of our problems. Football is a simple sport, you put good people with a track record of doing well in the right positions and let them work, right now it appears that he doesn't let people do their work.
  7. Thelin was rumoured for the job a year ago, so aye quite a lot of fans had heard of him. I don't think Knutsen was ever a goer either but we can't help who fans say they would like. If we are going experienced, we should get someone in who has experience of working in this structure, someone who has a history of promoting youth players and implementing their style of place whilst working under a DoF, technical director and working alongside a head of recruitment. I realise the club are not a pull right now, it's even harder with several idiots in and around the club who put people off of taking the job but for me Michael O'Neill would be a poor appointment, especially when you take the cost into consideration.
  8. Plenty of people had heard of Thelin, no one seriously thinks we can get Knutsen now, that ship sailed a couple of years back. I don't get why we have to settle for someone like O'Neill, especially when he is on a massive wage and tied to a 4 year contract, the money makes the deal for a manager like him way worse. He's a negative manager who hasn't done anything of note in club football for over 10 years, Stoke job was ok but nothing special at all, even his achievements with Northern Ireland were a long time ago and he benefitted from the tournament getting expanded. I would also say that a move for him is us admitting that we got it wrong with our change in direction and we'll now be even further away from it as he is not the type of manager to come in and build something aligned with the clubs strategy (lol)
  9. It's not about saving money, we tried and failed to sign several players in Jan.
  10. Whether he should have got the job or no that's nae the point, he, just like any other rookie would have been set up to fail. First head coaching job, no recruitment team, a new director of football (lol) so I can't really take this "Cormack backs his managers" he threw him further under the bus in the Jan window as well.
  11. O'Neill being offered the job and Lennon being interviewed yesterday.
  12. O'Neill doesn't play front foot attacking football, so hiring him you'd be looking to change HIS ways which as we seen with Goodwin will most likely end terribly. As for Cormack backing the managers, that's all good and well but when the recruitment isn't good it renders the money pointless. Glass got the worst end of it, rookie manager expected to find players with no recruitment team set up, shambolic.
  13. I would trust Slippers on this one.
