A Woman Doctor Who...

They have threatened this for years but doing it now smacks of a struggle to keep story lines fresh.

 

(of course I dont watch it)

 

They should take care not to undermine one of their long running series; after all if you change a character sufficiently, or often enough, then you don't actually have a character as such anymore.

It's to appease the feminists more than anything else.

 

If / when they make a female James (jane?) Bond that they'll have gone too far.

 

I think it's about time we started making movies where we change female protagonist to a male...like:

 

The Iron Lady - Starring Colin Firth as Margaret Thatcher

Tomb Raider - Starring Will Smith as Lara Croft (this also covers race)

Wonder Woman - Starring Brad Pitt as Wonder Woman

Orange Is The New Black - Set in a mens prison.

 

Maybe even branch out into adverts. Men running around, swimming etc advertising tampons.
