  1. Are hearts fans now fully behind naismith? Is he good tactically? Don’t watch a great deal of them.
  2. Even an absolutely horrific aberdeen team beat you this season. So don’t get too carried away. We have seen many teams turn around their fortunes in just 1 season. I suspect the league will have a stronger Aberdeen and Hibs(if they sign some decent defenders). You definitely are in pole position but as you know a lot can change if you have a poor window or a shit manager. Time will tell.
  3. That was completely justified from the support. Having to put up with joke appointments caused that. Now we have a manager that has the credentials the Mcinnes replacement should have had will definitely gain more patience from the fans. I do however think that people suggesting there won’t be improvements off the bat are overestimating the quality of our league. Even if the season isn’t massively successful I’d still expect us to finish in top 6 even with an average transfer window. If I’m completely honest if the recruitment is right I see no reason why we can’t make a run for 3rd in his first season. We’ve seen teams turn their fortunes around pretty quickly in our league. Either way I’m fully behind Jimmy. The club are fully commited for the long term and so am I as a fan! COYR
  4. We have finally got a good manager under Cormack (not including mcinnes), now is the time to see if we have what it takes to put a team together to help him be a success. Having a manager of good stature is going to really help in us attracting players too. Really excited about next season! Gunn and Burrows deserve huge credit for getting this over the line.
  5. He also refused to play against Dundee the game before.
  6. As excited as I’ve ever been by a managerial appointment. Not much to go on but really like what I see!
  7. Unless he’s pulling Wolf of Wall Street change in heart he’s announcing he’s joining us.
  8. Thelin will be announcing he’s joining us. Statement will be follow from the club.
  9. Handed 10k back to Celtic. Press will love that we have only sold 9k.
  10. Been told we will get over 5m for him. But that was when he was on a hot streak. Will his current form effect that?
  11. You have to pay the money then for a adequate no2, 1 that’s actually capable of playing. We should of kept the young lad and stuck him on bench as this guy has clearly been zero comp to Roos. Complete waste of a wage. Hasn’t he got another year too?
  12. I’d argue why we even need a second experienced back up keeper. Go get a no1 and put a youth player on bench. Given how often in last 2 seasons our no2 has actually played anyway it seems a waste of a wage. Maybe the benefit is more so in training I’m not sure? Bring Archie Mair home.
  13. Said it at the time. 2 yes, 3 no. You do wonder how much of these will start in our 11 next season. Straight of bat your looking at losing Roos, Gartenmann, Barron and probably Duk and Bojan.
  14. Unlikely but possible we sign 3/4 very good players. The hope with a new manager and head of recruitment is we do a lot better than last season. Assuming we have a very healthy budget this summer too. Trying to be a bit more positive. It’s persuading our first choices that’s been the issue. Hopefully Jimmy/Gunn combo is better at it than Robson/Gunn was.
