#1957500 The Jonny Hayes Thread

Posted by fine-n-dandy on 22 June 2020 - 05:55 PM

All those whining about his age/fitness/desire are pretty much being simpletons really.
Hayes said himself that his fitness stats were up top end in current Celtic squad.
His leg break was just that. A leg break. Not anything that could would affect his long term fitness etc. such as ligaments etc. so that is a shite gripe as well.
His desire well never go away imo. He’s not that type of player to lose that/give up. He’s more the type that will give 100% until his body simply cannot.

Hayes is still a great signing for us & would be for plenty sides still.

Hayes still owns his place in Balmedie he stayed in before he went to Celtic.
I’d rather have Leigh. Hayes main weapon was his pace, and at 32 with a broken leg behind him he won’t be the same player he was.

Hayes himself just said he scores highest in a lot of the fitness tests of players at Celtic even now.

Not sure how a healed broken leg will slow him down any either

Maybe Andy should try to adopt a winners mentality. Ffs

He’s probably the last one at the club you should be pointing fingers at for not having a winners fighting mentality.

Folk can bitch & moan about Considines skills & abilities all they like but to have a dig at his professionalism or his playing mentality is, quite frankly, naive & pathetic & most certainly unfounded

Lucky bastards Hearts.

Saved by the SPFL from the humiliation of another proper & embarrassing relegation.

Keep telling yourself that. Reality? They haven't accepted it, never will, they've ignored the day job to Scotland's detriment.
Salmond. Mackay. Nice.

Just like Hearts have ignored the weekend (& often midweek) job as well for pretty much a year plus. To the club’s detriment

Add in a substantial list of child sex offenders over the years as well. Hmmmm not so nice.

Hearts had the chance to prove they were a team capable of avoiding the drop when they played St Mirren.

St Mirren proved the better & more capable team of avoiding the drop when the chips were down.

Hearts deserve to be relegated.

they certainly deserve relegation a lot more than they deserve to be saved from it because of a virus

Shite again Aberdeen. Totally unacceptable

Cash out at £56.38
That was how much faith I had in Aberdeen getting a late winner that could have potentially won me about £500

My non faith in Aberdeen paid off as well as well scored

What I said was that if we had went 2-1 up there was every chance we could have won that game.

Despite your delusions of dominance they only scored the winner with a few minutes left. It was hardly the thumping you describe.

They were totally dominant In the second half. We had a couple of counter attacks but they battered us.

the fact they scored the winner so late on has deluded yous into thinking we were closer to winning than we were.

fantasy pish.

even if we had scored on 53 to go 2-1 up, they would most likely still have got us back. But that is still all delusions if’s &but’s

it McInnes best final v them but was still nowhere near a win
