This just illustrates what is wrong with our country today! We're obsessed by peering into other peoples lives and sneaking peeks being closed doors of our neighbours. You just need to look at the TV shows we are subjected to on almost every channel. We have turned into a voyeur nation (and not in a breeks doon, sock at the ready way). Big Brother didn't start it, but it was certainly a pioneer in "reality" tv shows. Then you look at womens glossy mags where they are full of "canded" images of z list celebrities doing their shopping or lying at the beach. I know it's not that simple but If folk would stop buying this pish then there wouldn't be a such a big market for it.

The most worrying part is that the police knew it happened, yet didn't do anything about it. The police have also taken money for information. The metropolitan police were reluctant to investigate when the first claims came about because they were scared of reprisals from Rupert Murdoch ffs. Sorry state of affairs.

Would love for the paper to be shut down and murdochs proposed takeover of BskyB derailed, but not in a country where everyone in politics is in the back pocket or just shit scared of news international.

Who actually buys newspapers like The People, News Of The World and sh*te like that? Are there really that many knuckle draggers in this country?

Go to Mallorca or anywhere like that where there are thousands of English / Glaswegian folk and you find they sell only The Sun, News Of The World and The Daily Record.

It's pretty sick really. The thing is, if they didn't think this sort of story would sell, would they do it?

People should get a grip of their lives and stop caring about what celebrities are up to. It's one thing to tap Sienna Millers phone, but a girl that was missing. Did the reporter/private investigator not delete voicemails on her phone to make room for other things? Could that not compromise the police hunt, who may have needed the deleted info? It's all f**ked up. If you hear about a girl going missing, you hope she'll turn up alive, but do you really want to know about her phone calls Do you f**k.

The only 'famous' folk I care about is if Rob Milsom has picked up a knock, or Scott Vernon is struggling to be fit for the game, get it?

This is the guy who runs the biggest cartel that ever existed in terms of the vice like hold he has over modern football in this country.

Where are the Monopolies Commission? What is the point of that organisation when they cannot reign in such an obvious price fixing arrangement?

Why do we get no choice as to who provides football on our screens?

Why does it cost

To their armchairs?

And force them to watch overhyped, overpriced, polished turd style turgid football marketed so well that bottom feeding dross like Stoke City and former egg chasing fanatics Wigan Athletic get the benefit better PR than the Harlem f**king Globetrotters?

The Sun and Star crosswords are achievable for an idiot like me.

Paper snobs eh! Up there with rapists and kiddie fiddlers.

Paper snobs are c**ts who look down on you while reading their Guardian.

Which contains the same pish in more flowery tomes.

I just don't buy rags full stop.

If you want women, use porn.

I've a HD full of filth but there's something erotic about seeing up Kimberley from Girls Alouds skirt flashing those white cotton panties with lemonade stains at the front. Just wank straight onto the photo, fold up and pop it in the bin.

No frills, no mess, maximum spunkage. :spunk:

And sometimes only 10 pence

Pressed by Scof and Anne Diamond, guy looks like he realised hes f**ked so now just going with it.

Mcmullan looks pained in the face at the end. Next stop, Scotland Yard for him

The pertinent question, while these private eyes are being hung out to dry, is who gave the go-ahead to tap the phones of relatives of dead people?

Sinister b*stards, this must go higher than the guy who actually tapped the voicemail, he's only the gopher, we need this to get to where the order was given.

If it's Murdoch, bang him up, life sentence.

I can honestly see this finishing the News of the World's existence.

This McMullan guy confirmed that orders to tap came from above, admitted tapping celebs phones, was uneasy on specific crime/murder victims being tapped but confirmed that Brooks would give the go ahead for tapping. This interview will get uploaded to youtube soon enough.

Like rats and cockroaches the NOTW and The Sun will always survive and of course they're still the most popular papers in the country

I'm not so sure, it depends how much further the revelations go.

The self styled voice of the nation is in deep sh*t.
